Pereira's punches don't look fast and explosive, but they have power behind them and a magical knockout effect that only a few have. Especially on the left hook, he gets to vertical twist his whole body behind the punch, even though it looks like a light jab hook.

I think izzy is the more technical kickboxer, but alex just needs to find that chin once. Kind of like wilder in boxing being considered not the most technical, but he only needs to hit you once and is really good at finding that specific punch throughout a fight.

People glaze Alex’s power so much it’s crazy Jan and Izzy and Bruno silva ate a lot of shots and didn’t get ko’ed actual npc fans
It’s not just Alex’s power it’s his ability to be so nonchalant with his power. If you look at guys like Khalil Rountree you can see and feel the weight behind his punches, but with Alex it doesn’t even look like he’s trying to hit hard he just flatlines people. The best example of this is his calf kicks he doesn’t even turn his hips over and he had both Izzy and Jiri’s legs damn near purple after the first round.
Those are literally the only 2 fights that he didn’t win by KO or TKO. Almost all his kickboxing wins are KO’s too, according to glory’s website he has a knockdown ration of 15 to 1💀. The thing about Alex is his technical striking is just as a good as his power, which you don’t really see with such heavy hitters. Also Bruno and Jan are literally made out of metal Bruno has never been knocked out and Jan only twice

Jiri has been through worse and recovered (also just because he said he was out in the post fight don’t mean nothing, dude just didn’t want to make it an awkward situation) jiri definitely could of survived and came back. There is a chance it could of got worse but we will never know because of Marc “early stoppage” Goddard
