I've Been playing dst since 2018 and the growth of the game amazes me more and more, and kittens takes over 10+ points because I love them.
I booted up don't starve after months of not playing it, pick some random flower for my sanity, and saw this kitten come out of now where. Then he followed me around and literally screamed in happiness. I love it
Ticoon can also help you locate the direction where lunar island is when he tries to go towards the lunar island kitcoon (if you havent found it yet). And yes, Ticoon can board boats
Second rework theory of the week: Maxwell having more control over what his shadow minions can do. It’s always been annoying for me and others when we are growing marble beans and other such resources.
Deerclops spawns a screen away from you so make sure you are far from your base the day he appears and fight him away from your base. I usually go to the next biome and I build an arena there.
Haha funny story, just because it's at the edge of water does NOT mean it's pointing twords the lunar island. The ticoon pointed twords the ocean and we got on a boat for it to lead to the grass biome to walk to the other side where we botated again to go to the pig king forest. I hate the normal kitcoon now because of that experience because it would have taken as long walking if the ticoon could have taken a slight turn.
I guess I isn't too bad. Catcoons really didn't serve much of a purpose before so it make sense that it is a slightly lighter. Update. But does this mean kitcoons will only be around during the event or are they permanent denizens
Might be unrelated, but has the update given any problems with savefiles to anyone? I got the update a few hours ago and all my worlds just dissappeared, I'm going slightly insane

Yesterday i was playing with some friends, and one of them have been collecting kitcoons, but she died and the kitcoons just stopped following her even after resurrecting, anyone knows a way of making them come back?
You have to interact with them again and then they start following you again- when I respawned they were starting to hide again, but as soon as I petted them they came back to me. Hope this helps!

Just make a Ticoon and he'll do everything for you. All biomes have a kitten and he'll lead you to them.

Yup! All events - even the super seasonal ones - can be turned on and off at will nowadays! It's all in the World Settings!
