I also like a lot of female artists in which a lot of people in society and media (sometimes the celebrity itself) pit an artist against the other. Kelly Clarkson, Taylor, Selena, Cardi, Jennifer Lopez, Nicki, all three Kelly Rowland Michelle Williams(both black singer and white actress), Beyonce Knowles. I even like damn Britney Spears because of her struggles and trying to overcome all of them. Not to mention a lot of actresses, producers and directors. The list can go on and on. To conclude it is very pathetic

Destiny child is one of the most iconic groups to ever touch the R&B scene, it’s sad that folks spend majority of the time bringing up old stuff and comparing them. Instead of asking impactful questions about the song production, advise they would give to other groups, their contracts and how Mathews business strategy allowed them to have such longevity, we’re reduced to mess. Please give these women their flowers while they’re alive. Respect the music they gave and stop with the mess
THANK YOU!!! Their impact on r&b and pop worldwide is still being seen today! ALL these new groups state DC as an influence. Countless producers and label execs praised bey for being adamant about wanting to produce the group’a vocals herself and write their own music etc. Everyone knows bey invented that signature staccato style and everyone tried to recreate those layers harmonies and arrangements the other girls would do. Such talent!!! I wish we got more questions about that type of stuff instead of petty mess we all know the answers to.

@Pudding Pie I don't know why ya'll have to lie. Beyoncé has and does write. She collaborates with other song writers sometimes and sometimes she takes songs as is(like many other R&B and Pop stars Usher, Britney even Kelly etc) and does a lot of her own vocal arranging. Her collaborators including Ne-Yo and the Dream have discussed ad nauseum about how she works in the studio. All writers AND samples are properly credited and paid. Also Keri Hilson has NEVER written a Beyoncé song. Check the credits and stop believing lies.
