Team dji or team freewell filters? (Maybe other brands too? Lmk)
Team DJI for me
PolarPro are better than Freewell
I went for Sunnylife Series filters I used them on my mavic mini and mini 2 😎
@@jaakkotahtela123 Are they really better? I ordered PolarPro NDPL filters for my DJI Mini 3 Pro. But a lot of people/CZcamsrs are saying that Freewell filters are the best and now I'm doubting if I made the right choice by ordering the PolarPro.
@@beatriceheinze2294 A lot of people don’t know or haven’t used any other brands than Freewell. I have found out that those who have used both Freewell and PolarPro definitely prefer PolarPro. That is the case at least for Mavic 3 filters. I would suppose that the same applies for the Mini 3. Freewell filters are more popular but that doesn’t mean they are better
Pretty impressed with the image quality of the Mini 3 but thanks for explaining when filters could be necessary no matter how high quality is the drone's camera.
It's convenient that the Air 2S combo comes with filters which can also be purchased separately. There could be a chance DJI would release filters for the Mini3 as well.
Loving the Mini 3 Pro as it is right now but ok, your conviction about using filters is making me consider.
This really is the best advice , it really does make a difference to video quality, I always fly with a NDPL filter even in low light ND4 it’s amazing the difference it makes , your footage will Pop ! Thanks & regards.
It’s better to use only a polarizer filter in very low light. ND filters doesn’t affect the footage in any other way than bringing exposure down
Amazing video I straight away bought ND Filters for my mavic mini 3 pro 😎
Wow! You’re not going to regret that :)
yes yes, excellent views
Thx buddy
Very cool 🤝🤟🏼😎
I'm one of those guys that doesn't like the filters and prefer sharper images. I think it's because I'm older and have to wear readers when viewing on the monitor. Just throwing that out there for the old farts.
I was born in 1944 and I've been a professional photographer since 1973. You can take it from me that good quality filters do not impact on sharpness, so let's kill that false info right here and now. A good quality ND filter is merely a fourth exposure control, it should have no other impact on the image whatsoever (hence the word 'Neutral' in Neutral Density)
Thx Alex
Mikey
Glad to see u!
Nice
Nice Alex. I have bought the Freewell All day pack as the Bright day pack wasn't available then. Recently I bought the Long exposure pack and the ND64PL. I had to pay 20 USD transportation cost but because I added the 19.99 USD Light Pollution filter I got the transportation for free.
Oh. Thx for the info, will tell others too then!! And are you happy with them?
@@WeTalkUAV I haven't tested yet but I have Freewell ND filters for my Mini1 and very happy with them.
I made nice long exposure photos with my Mini1 + ND2000 filter. I didn't got good results with the Mini3 Pro + ND1000 filter (only filter I tested) that's why I bought the ND2000 filter for the Mini3 Pro.
Hi Alex I bought a mini 3 pro after selling my mavic2 pro. Love this drone but I got a problem. I can't play the content on my Mac book Pro after recording in D-cinelike. Beside this the footage has a pink glow. The photo and when I record in normal mode everything if okay. I got a new drone from DJI but still have the same problem. Maybe you can help me?
If you shoot at 60 fps and you are not going to make it a slow motion video, then you should use the shutter speed of 1/60. Gerald Undone has made a great example video of this. Search for gerald undone motion blur
I would like you to point me to a professional article on ND filters to verify what you are saying. how does a filter affect crushed shadows? how does it affect sharpness by what mechanism? If I put on shades does the world look less sharp? it adds motion blur to areas closest to the camera.
do you think we gonna have mist filter on mini 3 pro ?
That would be a killer 😂 but honestly I don’t think so…
@@WeTalkUAV Yes man! Polarpro just released a pack of 3 filter, Bluemorphic, goldmorphic and MIST! I just saw this now
Looking for variable be filters
A variable ND filter is essentially two polarisers working in conjunction, one circular and one linear. In still photography good quality variable ND filters are extremely expensive and cheap ones are notorious for creating colour casts and the 'X' factor. There's no way I would contemplate using a cheap variable ND filter on a drone.
First air2 s army out
Mike my man
so nobody ever talks about the 1000ND filter lol
Those are great for hyper lapse photography!
