Great cover ! Yeah , David Gilmour has been one of my favorite guitarists to do covers for! He has such a cool touch and awesome riffs! "Time " solo and "Shine On You Crazy Diamond " are my personal favorites!! " Comfortably Numb " is cool too ! You would enjoy the feel of a Fender Stratocaster Steph. The single coil pickups sound unique, the neck and fretboard are too. Best regards, your friend Bob
Thanks Bob! Funny you're talking about me enjoying a Stratocaster, because I'm thinking more and more about getting one! Actually I always played with humbuckers as bridge pickups, but I feel that having a guitar with single coil pickups would be a great idea ^^. And btw the intro of Shine On You Crazy Diamond is so fantastic! Time solo sounds great too, as Hey You, Mother, and many other ones!
@@StephLeGratteux I bought a 50th anniversary edition Strat in 2007. It is American made in the Fender custom shop. As we speak , I have a 2019 Jimi Hendrix "UltraViolet" edition on order to pick up soon.$930.00 guitar, $200.00 Fender Tweed hardshell case. I don't think the Fender Squire guitars are any good, go for a Fender Strat The nice Strats are usually American made and Custom Shop ones pay more attention to detail. It is possible to get a 60s Custom Shop reissue for about $2000.00 Check out my Purple Haze video I just posted if you want a good look at a '57 reissue ! Bob
@@stratocasterbob As I already have many guitars, I think I'll get a Fender made in Mexico, even a second-hand, I heard they were pretty good too, and much less expensive than American.
@@StephLeGratteux Yesterday , I brought home my new Mexican made Jimi Hendrix Fender Stratocaster. It is well made and plays great. You know enough now about guitars to tell a good one from one that isn't. I think it is better to have a single coil bridge pickup and to stay away from Squire no matter where its made !!!!
