Here's a Jaime tribute. Honestly, I expected for this video to cover his entire redemption arc, but that changed last episode. I'm not a big fan of how his story turned out. But he was a great character. Hopefully the finale of Game of Thrones will be great, but i'm not sure. I always hoped Jaime would be the one to kill Cersei. Hope you all enjoy this tribute for Jaime.

A lot of people hate on this season and i get why. The writing is questionable to say the least. But Jaime’s arc came full circle. He was ALWAYS conflicted between honor and loyalty. But he never questioned his love for Cersei and his family. He was a hateful man because of how hated he was for doing the right thing (killing the Mad King), and we see Jaime struggle constantly with right from wrong because the line is blurred because of blind loyalty and oaths and honor. Thats what the whole "fuck loyalty" arc was about... in the very first episode he said "the things i do for love" and later in the show we realize how he would do anything for Cersei no matter what. Jaime left Cersei because when she lost all her children she pushed Jaime away in her anger, and then Brienne showed him love. After being with Brienne he realized he didn’t love her the same because it’s always been Cersei. He said "we don’t choose who we love," and these scenes were infact written by GRRM himself, so it’s no accident that throughout the show he was always fighting to go back to Cersei because that is where he’d always end up. It wouldn’t have made sense if he swore a damn oath to Daenerys, the daughter of The Mad King. He saw what she was capable of with her dragons. In my opinion it would have ruined his character if he DID stay with Brienne... it would have truly gone against his whole arc. Cersei and Jaime both died poetically. They came into this world together and they left this world together.

Once again you proved me, you are truly an editor with big fookin E at the beginning. I loved Jamie character more than everyone else and seeing him dying like that, made me really angry, not because of that scene, but i truly believed he changed himself from the man he was to the man he is now. Sadly love for cersei was more stronger. I am sad and dissapointed, cannot understand it and will never take it as his truly end. This video is at least a justice for this character, because Nikolai did fantastic work as an actor and its truly shame he went like that in the end. Jessie i have no words, never stop surprise me

I will never forgive Dumb & Dumber for bastardising Jaime's arc.
Riverrun was the culmination of his arc in the books. The turning point. He has to choose between cersei or brienne. He chooses brienne. He swore to never take up arms against the tullys or the starks so he takes Riverrun with no casualties. He negotiates his way out of conflict. And when he gets a letter from cersei begging for help, begging him to save her from the sparrows, he. burns. it.
Book Jaime would never go back to Cersei.
Book Jaime chooses Brienne. (I mean it will probably get him killed knowing GRRM but at least the story makes sense).

Great editing, great character. A Fitting ending for him, wouldn't have made sense for him to kill Cersei in the end, considering Cersei had Jaime's son/daughter in her belly. Killing a baby just out of hate isnt our Jaime, and what would he have gained from it? :)
I have very mixed feelings about Jaime's death, but you do bring up good points :)

Yeah, I had the first half finished before last episode aired. My original vision was butchered by the events from last episode, so that's why it does change the theme pretty abruptly. Glad you liked it though.
