I dash from 10:30am to 2pm, then 4pm to 10pm and average $200 a day. I try and take a day off and then I end up dashing again, it’s like an addiction, “let’s see how much I can earn today” kind of thing. It's an insult for someone to order $80 worth of food or even $40 worth of food and they give you a $3 tip. You're not eating in a restaurant you're actually having people to deliver your food and you should get at least a 12 or $13 gratuity tip just for us driving so many miles.

I have been dashing for about 5 years and feel the exact same way. I make much more money being picky and there is ALWAYS a better order after that just ok order. It adds to much stress imo to take low paying orders esp if you have to make a correction with the customer or you need to wait for an order. If I am on a let say $12 order and have to wait 7 minutes its not that bad but on a $5 order no thanks. If on average an order takes 15-30 minutes it better be worth it for me. Hey. If you see this. My friends insurance was just immediately canceled through Geico for even mentioning Doordash. I highly doubt most rideshare and delivery drivers are over the $41k range (22%) net income threshold. Once you write off all automotive expenses, clothing, food for lunch/dinner/coffe, etc, that's not a lot of money left over to tax.
your milage deduction alone should negate any amount of taxes.
