Making your own Gyro meat (or equivalent thereto) out of ground meat in a baking dish works SO well. Everyone should do it. It has just the right texture like the processed meat you get from basically every restaurant.
This is perfect. My kids love to get this kind of food from outside but they have allergies. Was looking up recipes online and didn't find one that was this easy. Loved it. Thanks
My gyro meat definitely did not look as beautiful and juicy😢. It was dry and I followed everything. 1 lb ground beef, 1 pound ground lamb. BUT when everything was all put together it tasted super good.
Looks pretty good! I moved to a place with no halal trucks So I've been craving it. ive got some beef flank strips marinating with yogurt, so I'm putting together my plate tomorrow!
