I loved his movies growing up, Hook was one of my all time favorites. You could tell he was such a great person and always trying to make others smile. He was truly one of a kind.

I wouldn’t be able to stop smiling. I already had met one of my favorite captains from Deadliest Catch. Captain Johnathan, and his wife Heather. It was the most special moment in my life. They gave me some of Johnathan’s extra kids’ books. That he wrote. For my co-teachers at my work. It blew me away in surprise. I never asked them for anything.
As Taylor Swift said imagine thousands of these, I was thinking about how cool it is what she’s doing, and thought about wow there’s 1000s of people like her doing things like this for those of us less fortunate. This is a tear jerker 🥲

No child should ever have to bear this cross. It’s awful. One of my childhood friend’s daughter went through chemo when she was 7 I think. She beat it and came out on top, and of course we were all elated and very happy that she did but we all also know that not all of them do. They are true warriors for fighting that fight being the innocent souls that they are. They truly are the definition of true strength and resilience. ❤️

Nothing melts my heart like these acts of kindness. It really does restore my faith in humanity. It helps me remember to always think about perspective and to remember that there are so many people out there suffering and to always be grateful for all I have and more importantly to try and pay it forward however I can.
I was hospitalized for 9 weeks after suffering a traumatic brain injury and 3 strokes and got to meet Eric berry and Eric fisher and it was amazing to meet them they were so kind and whole hearted

If you asked me beforehand I would’ve guessed in a second that Taylor would be an avid visitor. How can you POSSIBLY be famous knowing you could bring this type of joy to these families and kids/staff and not do it at every opportunity is beyond me!
I want to say thank you to all the celebrities that go to the hospital to see people you're very kind I wish when my sister was in the hospital that I could have reached out to Barry Manilow and had him come to see her she had terminal cancer so the prognosis of her surviving was not very good even after surgery but I know that it would have been the highlight of her day but I know that she is one of God's angels now and she's looking down and I know that she's watching over me and that she is his guardian angel she's watching over her favorite celebrity Barry Manilow and I know she's doing all that she can to keep him safe I love you my sister and I miss you a lot just took you away from me your smile your happiness everything they kept me going but I know one day when my time comes you'll be sent to me so that we can be together with our family keep watching over me Andover Barry Manilow and I'll keep looking at the sky and looking at the brightest star and say that you looking down at me and I will smile back and say to you I love you with all my heart

its nice for them to make the kids days a bit better for a few hours but what the kids really need are very smart doctors and scientists that can find ways to cure their diseases. I hope we can improve our technologies quickly!!

How often do you hear these visits publicised? I don't think I've ever heard about a celebrity visit on the "news" or tabloids. These videos are put up by the parents. I think these celebs are doing this for the kids and maybe their own personal reasons. Edit: I saw at the end there, but it was still mostly the parents or an ambitious reporter combing social media for content, not the celebs.
