Lagos Life: Every tribe in Nigeria has their own cuisine, but every Yoruba person's favorite meal has to be Amala which is made from Yam flour. But where do you get the best Amala in Lagos?
"I've told you where you can find Amala for N500," says Bolly
BattaBox presenter BollyLomo goes on a hunt for the BEST AMALA in Lagos and he eats till he could eat no more.
Bolly first goes to 'White House Canteen', one of the best Buka and Amala spots in Sabo Yaba and then he moves on to 'Olaiya Food Canteen' in Shitta Surulere. At both places he eats Amala, Ewedu, Gbegiri and Ogunfe(goat)meat.
"There is too much Amala in my system, but my review is not complete," says Bolly
Bolly then goes to a big boy restaurant in Ikeja Lagos 'Yellow Chilli' where the presentation of the Amala is different from the other roadside restaurants and he also gets a lesser quantity - But it doesn't come cheap o.

BattaBox I'm so proud! I've been watching your videos for more than a year now and they just keep getting better! Looking forward to more of this series. I'm a British Nigerian and I've learnt so much about Lagos through your videos. I'm really grateful! Keep it up!

it's for my liking an abomination to use cutlery to consume amala. God forbid. I'll never allow it if it's bought with my money.

I had Nigerian food in my university here in Malaysia during a food fair last year. I had fufu with some kind of soup made from okra- and I hope for this year's fair they make amala (we have lots of cassava, but i guess no garri here) and whatever this man is eating it with! Looks tasty 😋😋😋😋 😋

I hate slimy food but I don't mind jelof and red stew, egusi and pounded yam. No okra or Ogbono soup but I have to say I enjoyed this video and the presenter was authentic.
