- In this video, I show what a Hyundai Veloster N turbo sounds and looks like throughout the stages of it blowing. Due to the turbo failure, my wife and I are in the process of performing an Elantra N turbo swap on her Veloster N.

2020's according to the data are the best VN's. Many are above 100,000 miles and going strong with no major issues. HPFP and the starter are the main things that fail. Thanks for the content and sharing your experiences with the N series.

@@iam.marcus9254 36,000. I've been told my engine would blow at 30,000 didn't happen. I was told my turbo would blow at 20,000. Hasn't happened. Just been told a lot of things about this car just because it was a hyundai. But I bought it pre covid so I think the quality is there. Before things got bad.
I too have a 2020 VN PP with 52k miles and only had to change the hpfp at 51k other then that it's been solid and the lord knows I beat on that poor car every single day 😅
Oh dang man! Hate to see it, I just ordered the Elantra N turbo myself. Nothing wrong with the current VN turbo, but Cherry and I would be much happier with an upgraded turbo. 😎🤙
I got the elentran N trubo my self but not installed..had no choice cause the studs on the turbo are stuck as i just remove the downpipe...half job is done so decided to upgrade turbo!! But will do it from subframe . Hope to see your video soon.

Did you also suggest doing sxth elements new s 400 gen2 turbo
@@DiRtyqueso8 We purchased the Elantra N OEM turbo. I don’t know much about the Sxth turbo. I discussed the decision with Daniel and this was his recommendation.

What happens when you push a car to its limit with a tune. How many miles on it? I read about the Veloster N turbos failing and not built well. Not sure how true that is. Sure car would of been fine with no tune. Water/Meth is a must on these cars to keep EGTs down and keep valves clean.
@@4drturbo85 The car has 10k miles. It’s crazy how fast the turbo blew. We were discussing water meth as our next step right after the tune and the turbo blew 15 minutes later.
@@nprform I'd highly recommend Aquamist. I recently completed my install and have had your videos in mind when writing up my outline. I plan to shoot my coverage/install video shortly.
the only problem i see here is that this car is Hyundai . they are no good .
