what type of wheels do you guys use and what type of boots are they very hard or in between

the are probably 93 or 95’s

Dance wheels are typically harder like 93 to 95. Good artistic skate boots are Riedells, Golden Horse, and Edeas :)) (I'm not a professional It's just what I picked up from some intensive research)

How old do you have to be to start artistic roller skating?

You can start at any age. They have different age groups so you don't have to worry about competing with adults or little kids :]
