I felt like I knew everything but can't remember how to build a ufo! This frustrates me. The light asked what I would do with it. Uh duh! Point a to b travel safely! Explore! And as the holy books of the middle east state "the gift of flight was handed down from the ancients to save lives"! I would! Why am I being held back from helping others? I bend over backwards to help humans & animals.

Hi! Good question. #15 in the 33 Manifestations of Kuan Yin is the powerful and virtuous Kuan Yin. The mantra is “Na-mo Wei Te Kuan Yin.” It’s pronounced “Nah-mo Way Duh Gwan Een.” There isn’t a healing of eyes Kuan Yin in the 33 manifestations, although #9 in your study cards comes close: Kuan Yin who gives medicine. Kuan Yin does not live in any heaven but one of her forms abides in Western pureland of Sukhavati. Heavens are realms that are trapped within samsara, and Buddhas and high level Bodhisattvas generally abide beyond it since they have achieved Nirvana. Kuan Yin aka Avalokiteshvara is not an ascended master but a Bodhisattva.
Kuan Yin does not precede Buddhism as you claim. She is first introduced to the world in the Lotus Sutra and the Heart Sutra, which are the direct teachings of the Buddha. In those sutras, she exists as a male, and his name is Avalokitesvara. That is his Sanskrit name. The Chinese rendering of that name is Kuan Yin. Over the centuries, depictions of him in China became more and more feminine. Finally, he became a she.
