No wonder Tarkin turned out the way he did.
yeah, absolutely amazing

Fun fact:
Eriadu has a similar name to “Eridu,” which was one of the earliest cities in human history. It was located on the Mesopotamian plain along with Ur and Uruk.
Jeez, I knew Eriadu was messed up because of the Trakins, but I never imagined it was this bad.
Also, 5000 years is consdier a late addition to the Republic? Then what's like 200 years, an infant in the Republic?
Seems so considering the Republic was around for 25,000 years(?)
It is relative to the timeline of the republic
Yeah the Galactic Republic was over 25,000 years old (established 25,053 BBY). So Eriadu joined in the final 20% of the Republic’s lifetime.
Conquered territory
I really loved this video. The history of Eriadu and the Tarkin family is a great start to a potential new video series. Would you please consider doing more videos about the Republic/Imperial High Families and the planets they live on.
I think tarkins niece joined the rebel alliance, as a spy
yes she did
Dude you gotta do more Imperial Warlord and Remnant videos!
I would like to see a video about the legends version of the imperial remnat from the battle of endor all the way to 130aby.
I would love to hear more about the history of Rothana and what happened to it after the Clone Wars.
Entrala , is interesting, legends and canon , seem like I'm igbc holding, but lost to the empire. And became kuats new secret shipyard and were the first order fleet was built.
I'm glad we got to see eriadu in the bad batch's season 2 finale.
The Bad Batch kind of messed up Eriaduan lore though, didn't it? I mean if we only saw the landscape of Eriadu in TBB, I guess they could have claimed that this was just a never before seen section of Eriadu (which would still break the lore, but less so).
But in TBB Season 2, we see the planet from orbit, and it was pretty obvious that they thought that the whole planet looked like that, which leaves us in an interesting conundrum: Is Eriadu's lore still canon?
Going by the logic of other cases of TBB being wrong about lore, people tend to assert that TBB's version of events is actually what happened, so based on that same precedent, Eriadu's history must be different, and the same must be true for the planet Kaller in TBB Season 1
Why even shows without Filoni directly involved mess up lore?
@@Hello-bi1pm Because Filoni has set a precedent that there are no consequences for lore breaking and has demonstrated that so-called fans don't actually care much about it, which has resulted in other writers believing that they don't have to worry about it either.
This when combined with the lack of a Canon tier system leaves Disney Canon a hot mess any time Filoni and the other show writers make a new project.
But it is partially the fans' fault for accepting Filoni during the TCW days prior to Disney
7:27 But didn't Count Dooku promise Tarkin that Eriadu would never be attacked and he kept his word? That's what the Tarkin novel said anyway
I second everyone who’s now no longer in shock as to how Tarkin wound up the way he did 😂
Im sorry but the way you pronounce Eriadu is kinda funny. "Air-ee-ahh-doo" is how I've always heard it
There’s fascism, then there’s Tarkin.
Least he knew how to deal with pirates.
so many bots man
It’s crazy!
Your pronunciation of Eriadu hurts my soul 😱
But great video man, no hate here 👍🏻
Where did Tarkin do all those crazy hunting missions as a kid?
Why not talk about Corulag? Also, what do you think of the Tarkin family tradition of a horrifying safari to harden their members?
So where did wiluf go to do his initiation of wilderness survival in the book if it's all industrial?
Could you make a video on Eadu from Rogue One?
Glory to Delvardus and the Eriadu Authority!

And here I thought Taris was the “Coruscant of the Outer Rim”…
It lost its geopolitical and economic importance with its destruction at Darth Malak's hands, and even if the planet was partially rebuilt and repopulated, it never recovered it.
@@mayeuldelaunay4058pretty sure they were referring to something said on one of the KOTOR 1 loading screens if I remember correctly.
So, Eriadu is basically an advanced version of Hong Kong.
disclaimer that i put this comment out without actually watching a video because i thought it would have the best chance of actually being seen on the most recent video, i wish your ending music was better balanced to the rest of the video because i often sleep to your star wars content and end up running into situations where ill wake up at 4 am because the music at the end of the video wasnt well balanced with the speech throughout i know its a stupid niche comment but i wanted to say something about it at least so i wasnt just some asshole complaning behind the scences because oonga boonga simple science right.
tldr lowe music volume at end i love you
Taris was the Coruscant of the Outer Rim.
Grand Moff Trakin’s grandfather is RandOFF Tarkin?! o_0
They were more Core than the Core…
You could say that they were…Hardcore😎
Such a scummy planet like a certain Grand Moff from that world
This video isn't about Taris?
No, but the parallels between Taris and Eriadu are striking
Wooooohoooo I am view number 7
Edit: I give thumbs up but it still says 0 likes?
I thought taris was the coruscant of the outer rim?
Sounds like china if you ask me.
If I were to describe this planet and its people in one word, that would be 'arrogant'
Core World wannabes who were too arrogant and lord over everyone else and believe themselves superior. Yeah, this sure is one of those kinds of planets fans would not want to live on. I certainly wouldn't want to be if Tarkin can be used as the face of Eriadu.
64 viewer baby!
Don't care about He/She/They/Them no matter what as long as I'm empowered malarkey. Meritocracy is the way .
👍
😊😊
Disney canon😂
Question: Should Eriadu suffered the same fate as Alderaan? You know, an eye to an eye. A planet to a planet.
I really don't see why you painted humanocentrism as something bad.
Pius dea crusades look it up, that is the end result of when humanocentrism goes out of control and takes control
@@vexile1239 I know about Pius Deia crusades damn well and I love the idea. The universe is humanity's rightful possession.
@@SidorovichGaming ah you are a follower of Alan from Generation Tech (I think) huh?
Humanocentrism is okay here on earth where humans are the only species sapient but in star wars other species are basically analogies for real life ethicities so Humanocentrism in star wars is basically white supremacy

Then do better. If people think you're fake then maybe change your ways
Speaking as a very devout Christian, this sorta stuff is a disservice to Christ's word. Christianity isn't something to virtue signal, it's something deeper and more personal, when you write up comments like this towards people who don't want it, you just come across disengenious and uncaring. You make it look like you write this stuff to pat yourself on the back, and not actually have to walk the walk when it comes to real Christian charity and activism. It's disrespectful to a Messiah who called for his followers to be activists for the people suffering the most, and to fight oppression.
if u follow him u may call him by his real name: Yeshua, everything other than that is considered blasphemy (jesus=esus= hail zeus)
