    What some people fail to understand is that when using resin, the thicker colours (white) sink to the bottom of the mould while lighter colours (weight wise) rise. Pouring the white last and at the right time/temperature really does create a different effect. It took me a while to work this out when i first started using resin. It may seem obvious to some, but resin can be a difficult medium to work with regarding effects, colours and getting it to set properly, etc... I think your video is very informative, especially to beginners who are unsure of the processes regarding adding glitter and colour. 👍🏻👍🏻

  • @cathyhall7457
    @cathyhall7457 Před 9 měsíci +29

    Okay so I am so confused. Because the first one you poured the white in first and then the colors. But the second one you put the white in last. So which one is it that you got the best effect on it because you reversed it when you pulled him out. You said that the first one is where you put the white last????

      Opaque white is always very heavy and doesn't really move much unless you pour it on top of resins with lighter dyes or pigments. The one with the solid white ring around it is the one where she poured the white first. It didn't move. The one where she poured the solid white last is the one with the pretty pattern. Of course, that pattern is also due to the swirl pattern she poured the white in and the amount of white pigment used because if you use too much opaque white it can still sink to the bottom even through the lighter colors. It's all a matter of ratios and technique. 🤷🏻‍♀️
