PART 3 of the JESSTOBER ART CHALLENGE CONTINUES! I am excited to share my process for the first week of illustrations. Lot's of satisfying and calming painting footage...After making my first time making my own prompt list, and I really excited to share my process and bring you along the journey this month! In this video I share how I illustrate prompts 2 through 8. A week in my life as an artist! For the art challenge, I am using mixed media including watercolor, gouache, ink and colored pencils. To continuing a wonderful magical month of creating!

Hey Jess! As always, I loved watching your paintings come alive in this video. All were beautiful, but favorite is a toss-up between the sunflower picture and your hummingbird picture. Sunflowers are my favorite flowers, and I could see “you” in the picture. And then the hummingbird painting reminds me of Grammy. It’s her favorite bird. I could see that illustration on a greeting/note card. Beautiful. Also, when you were talking about the little characters for your key drawing, it made me think of the children’s book/tv cartoon series that grew up with, called, “The Littles”. Once again beautiful work. I look forward to your next video.

I think it's really impressive that you can do such different color schemes. Some are so vibrant, some very muted, and some kind of in the middle, calm and pastel. Really beautiful.

Hi Jess, thanks for sharing your artworks with us. For Day 7, how/why do you use the fluid matte medium and what supplies can/do you use over the top of it.
I am curious about that too. I am thinking that watercolor wouldn’t hold over the medium and that maybe she painted in gouache. But I thought gouache wouldn’t be ideal over the medium as well. Who knows 🤷♀️. Let’s hope she see’s the question and answers.
the aesthetic she uses in her videos and drawings, its not cute, its not creepy its just a beautiful undescribable aesthetic we ALL love.

For square space and for larger images, how do you take photos of things you want to make prints of?
Are you able to create a video of how you edit the images especially the art that is on spread of two pages?
How do you manage clearing up the line going down the art of it is a two page spread?
I really wanna get started on editing my photos into digital prints or stickers maybe even color pages.
I just need so basic advice on how to go about editing them
I have access to Mac and Procreate what other platforms do you use to edit. I do have a scanner but I haven't used it in years.
A lot of my pieces are rather large as well.
I would love a tutorial on basic editing for making art into digital prints.
