Thuyen, was very beautiful and graceful in the floral halter/off the shoulder dress. She was a perfect presence which in my opinion gives him comfort. I believe she is very sound and smart also in her responses. If he isn't married...I could see her being his choice of companion to continue continued adventures.

Living in a high stress city in North America, Sonny*s cooking series keeps me entertained. I came across his cooking series by accident when I was looking for cooking shows. Sonny*s cooking series are absolutely the best!!! I am fascinated of behind the scenes and the preparations of the meats and foods. Although it is not easy to watch them butchering the meats but I respect their way of life of doing it. I am learning so much of different varieties from all over the world. Many thanks to Sonny, his team and co-hosts!! Thuyen is so sweet, smiling and laughing.
I'm new to it and think he's doing what was left of Anthony Bordain level of giving us culture experiences around the world: and being kind about it (and funny and entertaining). And making us remember that the world brings us together with food with respect to cultural differences. ❤

The mystique of fine dining is revealed and explained and reverse engineered . . . from the table back to the origins of the ingredients in the sea or in the land. This is marvelous! This is what makes a cruise-ship's Chef's Table experience worth U.S.$75 to $100 versus all the junk and fast food...which is not worth eating even when it is free...
Sonny’s show gives me flashbacks to Anthony Bourdain’s No Reservations and I’m all for it!! Finally we get the backstory on the culture and food prep + wonderful hosts and guests.
But his looks and build remind me of Gordon Ramsay...

*Weird to say* but the pandemic has been good to BEFRS. I love the deep dive into Vietnamese cookery and redirecting much of the travel budget toward the actual food totally works. The factory tours were great too. If necessity is the mother of invention, Sonny is its wiseass stepchild.

WOW! I just discovered this channel and I was so pleased with spending my time (over two hours of my weekend) just watching it! Sonny and Thuyen - you are the type of host I can truly walk (virtually) and feel so comfortable next to. The food imagination was amazing! I live in Houston, Texas - we have our seafood, but it's dirty compared to what you encountered (I have to admit, I am not a fan of soul food-new orleans which is what you normally see around these parts; too gritty/sandy/or blackened). I savored every bite you took and made me so jealous of your COVID-19 demise. My favorite was the shrimp in tomato sauce in the first part of the video - provided the recipe, I felt I could do it at home! Thanks both and happy New Years!
