- In today's video, we're looking through a selection of my favourite photo books, magazines and zines that I've acquired over the years. I'll definitely be making more parts to this video as there are so many other, amazing books that I have in my collection, but I thought, to start, we'd just go through this one box of books.

In the early 1980s when my brother and I were starting to get into shooting models, I used to collect all the promotional glossy materials for the likes of Nikon and Hasselblad from what was the Pelling & Cross in Manchester, just off thd Mancunian Way. These reminded me a lot of those publications. Thank you.
Ah that sounds amazing! Do you still have any of them?
Thank you for watching!
Great range of books & styles, been in love with Rosie Matheson’s work since I first saw it on one of your Photographers You Should Know’ videos. The Contact High book is awesome too, love the subject matter, the layout of the book & that title 👌🏻
Her work is gorgeous! Definitely one of my favourite photographers! Thanks so much for tuning in Gareth!
I really was moved by Rose mathesons book " BOYS" thanks for sharing.

Thanks for watching Eddy! Glad to hear you could discover something new!
Great to see we both have great taste with a few of these overlapping with my lists I’ve done haha! Also, Lindbergh On Fashion Photography is the 🐐 of fashion photo books for me 😍
Ah it's a great book isn't it! Have you watched the Apple TV doc about the supermodels? Shows some great work from Lindbergh and co, such as Elgort and Meisel.
@@SophiaCarey ooh no I’ve not got Apple TV, will have to maybe get a free trial or something!
@@AndrewMclean you can come round and binge it when I have a proper sofa 🤣
@@SophiaCarey haha I’ll hold you to that! 🙌🏼
@@AndrewMclean Fellow Yorkshireman doing me proud there rinsing a Free Trial 🤣
I can recommend Roll by Theo Gosselin ❤
Will definitely give it a look! Thank you!
