@@Coyotek4 Geraldo came to my college to speak about his different stories throughout his life, and he talked about that one as though anyone could have made a simple mistake like that, which I think is absolutely correct. He was extremely kind, and I even got a signed copy of his most recent book at that point and to both talk to him and take a picture with him.

Accidentally gets a wardrobe malfunction, gets fined heavily and blacklisted. WTF?
hulk hogan was doing the time honored tradition of "protecting the business." belzer was belittling wrestling and questioning its validity. hogan choked him out for real.
it was a stupid move from both parts. belzer for questioning a 6'6, 300 lbs professional athlete and hogan for choking out a non wrestler on live tv.
I always thought it was unfair Fab and Rob were shunned but not the producer who forced them into lip syncing
The whole background of it is really screwed up. Both of them were poor foreigners who started out trying to be backup singers, and like the video said they wanted to sing for themselves and have some actual creative input but kept getting shut down by the producer. They didn't go in planning to trick anyone, they genuinely wanted to make music.

Steve Harvey was an absolute champ about it. He's a good guy, deserves his props.
He handled it great, yes. But I'd suggest looking up some more information about him. He has some very problematic beliefs. Particularly about women, and relationships (platonic and romantic) between men and women.

My uncle tried to prevent that disaster from happening he told them that the fuselage nozzles where going to cause in explosion he let his boss know and it got all the way to Allan McDonald who refused to sign the launch approval but they went ahead anyways smh
My mom saw that live with my young sister, explaining that yes, they all died.
Agreed - I was thinking that would make the top spot, especially considering the amount of public interest in that particular launch.

I remember leaving work and hearing about "balloon boy" on the radio. I rushed home and my mother and I were glued to the TV and like everyone else we were extremely concerned, then upset when the truth came out. I also remember the wardrobe malfunction. I let out a squeal of surprise. We had been taping the game for my dad, and we must have rewound that moment a dozen times trying to decide if it was planned or an accident.
I screamed at seeing a saggy grandmother tit.
I couldn’t believe Steve Harvey still hosted Miss Universe after that incident. Talk about forgiveness.
Gotta give credit to Steve Harvey for owning up to the incident. And actually played the incident for laughs at the next year's pageant.

I remember watching Miss Universe 2015 in my home in the Philippines, i was 8 at the time and i remember the moment he apologized and announced the real winner, everyone in my family including me, jumped up in hype. Unforgettable memories.

I instantly thought of that moment too. But I just read about it, and while it was live, it only reached an audience in Pennsylvania. Maybe this list is for more live national disasters? Still doesn't explain why the Challenger or the Al Capone thing didn't make the list. Those were massive stories at the time.

I was 3 years old when the world series earth quake happened. We lived south of Oakland at the time. I was in the hallway of our home and I started crying for no reason and my mom wasn't sure why. She came to get me and a few seconds later the whole house shook. Because she had entered the hallway to get me, it kept her safe. There was a lot of damage to the home and she could have been injured, but apparently I saved her. :)

I saw a similar incident to the flaming arrow on AGT on a more recent season.
But instead of the guy staying to perform, they basically demanded he go to the ER, and there was pretty much no way he could refuse.
It was pretty much the same act, had a flaming arrow, and it hit him instead of the target.
May had been different people, though.
Also, I always miss the "juicy" parts in halftime shows, lol!
I don't really watch them as much as listen for songs I like, provided it's someone I like songs by (this halftime show? Hated every minute).
