Which futaba radio can you buy for this heli?. I heard futaba radios are just BNF. Is there any setup with the radio or just the app?
Most futaba radios will work. I’d go with the 16iz. The app just helps fine tune. You must set up a regular Heli model set up in the radio

so if the canopy latch breaks or doesn't hold properly and you're in forward flight, that bottom canopy will fall down and act like a parachute and I could see it take the heli down.. :( That's not an optimum design unless you secure that hatch with velcro on top of the latch.

Sort of. Big difference is adjusting parameters from your phone app. Not sure I’d buy one if I already had an M2, but as a new buyer I would go with this.

yeah let's not test the crash…I did it for you… The canopy doesn't hold up at all neither does the tail boom. Not quite as robust as you make it out to be. Flies good but crash damage is a little worse than I would've expected lesson learned
Every crash is different, any experienced pilot knows how to obliterate a model. However knowing how to crash takes time. Knowing when to stop fighting it, also how to hit throttle hold. These things can help you save your model.
I can it 3 times and the only things that broke is the fetharing shaft, tail blades and main blades , nothing else
