- Hey guy, hope you're doing well. This is my first keyboard video in a little while as some of you are aware. In this one I will be showing you how to add additional gaskets to your board to finally get a little bit of bounce. Hope you enjoy!
I just did this mod to my new Gmmk Pro board and hell yeah man. It does not only help improve the flex but also does wonders for the sound if paired with a 3 layer tape mod. Good video!
Cant wait to do this just made my first costom key board today 🙌

Hey! You quickly glance over removing internal screws and I'm not sure if you show that in the video. What to you mean by that? Great video though, really helpful for me!
Sorry to zoom through that! I'm talking about removing all the hardware securing the pcb to the plate. I cover it move in depth in this video (czcams.com/video/nJ7a-cQJ1oU/video.html&ab_channel=PrestonTalkZZZ) starting at the 4:42 mark. The idea behind this is to allow the keyboard to flex as much as possible. Hope that helps!
Where did you buy these gaskets
If you bought the GMMK pro they should come with the keyboard
uhm would you recommend triple gasket mod or d65 gasket?
I would say mostly it comes down to preference, however the d65 gasket is more ideal because it's already thicker. In this video I was using the additional gaskets that come with the board for convivence. If you have some of the d65 on hand that would work well.
what are those switches?
These are the Bolsa Supply Zaku Switches (bolsakeyboardsupply.com/products/zaku-switch) they're sold out at the moment but they do have pretty frequent restocks if you want to check those out

@@gbsaura These are a great pick in my opinion, I've been trying some heavier switches out but these are still my favorites, I really like the long travel distance and the return is noticeably snappy

@@PrestonTalkZZZ just another question, those keycaps looks so nice i was thinking about getting them. but i'm looking on the website and i don't see the blue accent keys, where can you get these?
So sometimes in the product images I know it shows the purple accent keys. As long as it's the Akko Silent keycap set, it comes with both the purple and blue accent keys.
