He's become very rich off the back of the poor people. We want a leader for the country and not for himself. All the politicians are in it for themselves.

With the way this current government is going. I don't think investing to boost revenue comes to their mind because all they care about is building roads where they can inflate price of road construction for themselves.

It's just the right way to go. if you want to increase your revenue u invest in cash flow instead of taxes and excessive borrowing. Illiteracy is a serious disease.

I've said it before and I'll say it again, until the Gambian people RISE UP and challenge the system like we have seen with Kenya, things will not change.
People, including the youth, cannot constantly complain about lack of opportunities but do nothing about it. Rather than go the back way, they need to follow the youth of Kenya and turn up to the point the government is FORCED to change their policies ✊🏾

Thats the way forward but the thing is Gambians will fine a way to plunge themselves in another mess greater then this current regime, that's just how Gambians are.

Every tribe in every village has their own place to go on friday, but no roads, electricity, water, or health clinic. Police checkpoints every 100 meters taking money from the poor in every villagers but can't properly investigate a theft. Not even a fingerprint kit or telephone in the station. 😢

Our restaurant in Kotu was built four years ago WITH LOCAL PLANNING APPROVAL, and was subsequently destroyed by Manneh two years ago, and last year taxes went up sharply! The restaurant was built well, looked nice, was very clean, and was far back from Kotu Highway which is not being improved or widened. What did they think was helpful about that? So we rebuilt smaller behind the wall, hoping tourism and local demand would return, and allow future expansion, but so far, is very discouraging. If arbitrary taxes are exorbitant again this year, we will leave Gambia.

There is one village in Gambia that can generate 1B dollars per year in revenue, but the corrupt officials there can't get past their greed to invest in the needed infrastructure to make it possible. 😢

Seedy, it seems as if both you and your president, Adama Barrow are delusional! How in the world is he the best president in the world when he keeps pumping his balloon like stomach with illegal sustenance??? All he’s doing is lying and stealing, along with his big bellied father crazy Maki Call. These two clowns are going down with their stupid ideology of competing to be the best thief in the world! Why in the world did Barrow allow Senegal and China to gain ownership of the river Gambia? I wished the Gambians elected The Gentleman, Mr Intelligent, the honorable and Eloquent Halifa Sallah? Mr Sallah truly loves Gambia and Gambians, may ALLAH bless him always and his family; friends and companions! Barrow needs to go; he needs help!
