The cup holder for me is the biggest peeve for me, good video man
You can get a USB port for the ipod connector port in glove box if you wanted but it is in the glove box
yea just found out about it while doing some research but its far in the glovebox. I just use the cigarette port inside the arm rest. thank you though !
Bought an 8.5 a month ago. So far I am really impressed. But I have the tiptronic 8 speed automatic and it is smooth but I dont know how to handle it when for example slowing down for a traffic light almost to full stop but all of a sudden the traffic light turns green. This means i have to give more power to speed up but the automatic get s a bit 'confused', as a result it revs up too much and shifts uncomfortably to next gear.
it has to drop a gear to use the power you're asking it to. If you want to stay in the same gear slowly press down the throttle and it won't downshift like if you floor it

2nd: use an 12v soccet. No big issue. There os a 12v socket in de armrest
3rd: to quiet?? get another excaustpipe.

I got mine this year. I agree on everything you said lol. same things i don't like. I am definitely gonna change out the muffler to make it sound a bit louder and tuning it as well
I did a muffler delete and it is night and day highly recommend it! same, I am doing more cosmetic mods at the moment.
I have a B8 A4. I agree about the cupholder. I'm getting Apple Carplay with a backup camera and have a ciggarete charger for my phone for the USB issue. I cut off my second resonator and muffler and its nice and loud haha, highly reccomend
Cup holder makes me so mad cause nothing fits there lol and I added a awe catback system which made a good difference but now just modifying my s5!

@@bmwbrayden If you do regular maintenance on time it should be good. I’ve had my a4 for about 4 years and never had an issue, but yes S models definitely a different breed specially tuned 😫
I’ve had mine for about 2 months now and I really enjoy it but yeah cup holders are a L.
It’s a great car, as long as you maintain it well lol, but the cup holders are a pain especially when there are two drinks involved lol!
Muffler delete is ok! But maybe coz I only have a tune, yours sounds good to me, my preference is less loud though, also have a mk6 Jetta 2016 ;) love my jetta more for some reason
I had a 2.5 Jetta as well lol! I loved that car as well but unfortunately it was totaled.

Not bad at all. I have done two oil changes and go to get it top off when I feel like it is time, for free at Audi.
Small cup holder is for small cans like red bull 😅
Under powered, relatively slow, too quiet. Now add a bigger turbo, intake, down-pipe, cat back, IE manifold, coil overs, front and rear sway bars, slotted rotors, and a tune. I did all those mods to my 2012 Avant, almost as fun to drive as my 2021 TTRS, but not quite.
Thank you for the feedback, I actually sold my a4 and bought a b8.5 S5. Definitely would like an RS3 or TTRS in the future 🙏🏻
That’s because it’s an a4 not an s4 you clown who gets an a4 expecting speed and a big exhaust note

see for me personally i like the small cupholer ,perfect size for smaller shit like redbull cans that are usually a dumbass problem in normal sized cupholders, may also be bacuse i rarley have pasengers eat or drink in my shit lmfaooo

I bought this car in January.. and I hate it. It’s heavy, the transmission is sluggish. When you start the car, youlll always feel the sensor under your accelerator pedal which feels like a spring is tightening for the first 10 seconds of driving. The cup holder is stupid. It’s underpowered. It’s bulky and feels big due to the lack of power. There are a lot of cheap plastic bits and parts everywhere. The sunroof is too far back to even notice when it’s open. The MMI is garbage. The gas mileage is garbage. But the biggest thing about it is the weight... cannot stand it, wish I bought newer.. my 2015 1.8t Volkswagen Golf was a much better car than this.. and quicker/more convenient. The only good thing this car has is the incredible sound system and front grill/rear appearance.. it’s a very striking car. Just don’t buy it thinking you’re getting into a nice Audi... you can tell the moment you drive it, that it’s old technology and drives like a boat.
haha I agree with everything you just said. every time I open the sunroof I'm confused why its so far back, I thought it was just me. I am just glad its reliable because parts are super expensive. I have a love hate relationship with it for the same reasons, but I want to maybe keep it another 2 years max and get into a b9 s4 or s5.
My gosh, the more I read into Audi cars the more I don't want to get one.
A/S4 B8.5- outdated MMI, all the reasons you've mentioned and no aux code.
A/S B9- stupid shifter knob thing, auto start stop feature, reliability, ans no dipstick
All A/S6- start button is on the wrong side.
Little things I can stand.
@@cicada3312 mmi upgrade lol and as for dipstick just buy one because it is a thing, this car has alot of upgrades and potential
Get the MMI interface cord....you can plug it in the glove box....then you phone isn't sliding around.. just update mmi
