The opening felt off to me too. Doesn't matter though, the opening won't reflect the quality of the game. I'll probably listen to the opening a few times and then after that, skip it. This is not Kotera Kanako. She cut her ties with Falcom (or they with her, I'm not sure) more than a year ago at least. Just by listening I believe the singer is Sasaka Megumi.
If this is the quality of full animation, I would rather have animated CGs like the ones from previous games. At least the characters who are not students don't look adolescent in those; this opening's animation takes away all the tension built by the song. Also, as much as I like Sasaka Megumi, this song is not written for her type of voice--she is much better suited to singing songs like "all is a lie" from Tokyo Zanadu.
It's just me or this opening is a bit off? Too much singing when the name "Sen no Kiseki III" is being shown. Also, first game with a full animated opening, Falcom are putting a really good effort in the kiseki series now! =O
Yeah... Like.. The other openings fit their music well.. But this one, just feels off. The music plays, the intro part of the music advances then, SEN NO KISEKI just show up and the music is too advanced to this part... I don't know, I'm looking forward for this game too, but I'm not blind. Something is really OFF in this opening. The music screams sen no kiseki and the animation screams sen no kiseki either, but they don't fit well. This animation was not being made for this actual music, that's my guess. Also: The animation is a little off either, the quality of the characters is a little.... well, don't know. Their actual 3D Models are much better than the drawing on this opening.
The song is somewhat 'Tokyo Xanadu' style whereas the animation movement is very flat. Also, the synchronization with the music and the picture do not match. Hope Falcom should look back to the Trails in the Sky SC and Ys II Eternal opening movies which I was really thrilled watching. The animation technique in SC was quite old; mending many unmoving pictures but not annoying each other.

Well Sen 2 had an epic OP but the game was ehhhh, this one has an iffy OP but the content seems much better this time. Note to Falcom, if your not going to burn that sort of budget then just stick with your old stand still type of OP, this one some of the scenes lasted super long unnecessarily and the music and anime doesn't jib and in some places doesn't even fit the beat, it's especially disappointing after Sen 2's op . (also, for some reason you made 2 OP song but went with the crappier one. )

我閃軌1 玩到終章...偷偷來看了閃軌2/3的op....漸漸驚覺自己進了一個不得了的大坑啊....還出不了了.
終章で推しキャラ死にまくったのは発狂しかけたけど、クロスベルのとことか、ストーリー自体は結構良かった気もする。システム面は相変わらず満足

動畫化就算了，怎麼感覺動畫和BGM根本就是解離感超重，就算分開來播也完全沒問題，與其說是OP更像是是粉絲做的MAD，BGM該高潮動畫卻沒什麼高潮點就幾個人物鏡頭抬頭看一下帶過，這代真的爛到一二代都比它好太多了!法社不要因為花太多成本搞人物模組op就青菜，加油好嗎？!
