I feel that, I was scared for my life to jump 5m and a little British girl just says to me: “I’ve done this millions of times and I’m only 8” the kid literally just run of and jump. My only thought was: what if I slip?
I love how realistic you guys are because I'm one of those idiots that would like try it hundreds of times to see if I could get less scared of it and every time I see it from that high up even on the video I get vertigo so I have no clue why I even think hundreds of times is gonna work to help me towards it haha correction of self: I SAY I would do it hunnerds of times but I'd never be able to get used to it
I can do a double flip (half-out) from there! Self-taught, lots of belly flops along the way. Can't recommend falling like that, but it was worth the end result xD But oof, the shame Edit: I mean the 5m. I can jump from higher, but never did flips. The goal is to do a 10m backflip this summer

Totally disagree. I was a competitive gymnast when I started diving for my high school team. I thought it was the easiest thing. They gave us springboards (diving boards) and lots of air to pull off tumbling tricks normally done on the floor. Suddenly a triple (this was 1980) was no big deal. The other dives like inwards and reverse dives required the same crazy fearlessness that gymnastics did. Loved both sports and still do.
You guys swing off poles and hang up in the air on rings with nothing but some padding to break your fall. You have water below you. And youre only 15ish feet up.
Okay 5 meters is what ever I jump head first from there without any athletic background or anything just a completely ordinary person oh and btw I have fear of heights and I can still do it and u guys are athletes so u can get over that fear
