Having a realistic budget is a simple but important tip.
It really is a simple tip. But it's often overlooked. Thanks for watching!
I find it very difficult to budget. It's so hard to read my own plan
cash stuffing and a zero based budget have been my saviors! ive only been doing it for 2 months and i've put aside almost a thousand! i went from spending every penny to saving cash at home so i dont even get a chance to spend it
I'm so happy i made productive decisions about my finances that changed my life forever. I'm a single mother, bought my second house in September and hoping to retire next year at 52 if things keep going smoothly for me.
@@TinaRanieriA Congratulation beautiful lady. You're really doing well for yourself, I'm at 55 and my financial life is in a mess. Any great tips would really go a long way in shaping my life. i want to buy my own house, that's really a big flex….
@@adrienclaeys294 As the economic crisis keep rising, one needs to have different streams of income, a well detailed diversified investment portfolio in the financial markets is needed to survive, as well as secure a profitable investment future, Thanks so much to Mrs Brianna megan for helping and enlightening me.
@@TinaRanieriA I invest with mrs Brianna Megan too, she charge a 15%commission on profit made after every trading session which is fair compare to the effort she put in to make huge profit...
@@TinaRanieriA Thanks for your kind response, i would love to connect with your financial consultant, I learned very late about the importance of a mentor.....
Mine is.......Save 10% holiday 8% clothes 5% laundromat 5% home 15% food 13% and I only make $273
I earn the same so thanks for commenting this was helpful!!
I definitely leave beyond my means :(
Most of my life, I've been pretty spoiled because my mom would give me money for all my expenses, so I never knew how bad i was at budgeting when my bank numbers are almost always negative!!
I recently got a job at starbucks that pays minimum wage, so I have to learn how not to spend beyond my means, but it's hard. Shopping has been an unhealthy coping mechanism for me 😭😭😭
Oh no... I'm that mom.
something that has helped me with my shopping addiction is to apply the 7 day rule: if i want something on a monday, and like i really really want it, i choose to wait 7 days and if during those 7 days i think about it every. single. day. then i buy it. But, if I think I want to get something on monday really bad, but then i don't think about it on tuesday, and end up remembering about it on friday I just don't buy it. Because, at least for me, that means i didn't really want it that much nor needed it cause i barely gave it a thought during the week
Lmfaooo @ emojis. It's okay though, you're not alone. Practice makes perfect. You can do it!
I'm the opposite. I got my first job the summer before college and only worked a calendar month. I had made about 1k+. I gave $250 away to help in hard times, I spent about 300 on things like gas and finally splurged (plus my mom took har chance not to spend 100%😂) by the 4 month mark I still had nearly 500 when I got what I was owed back.
I’m so glad that you said that the 50/30/20 budget is not for everyone! Agree 💯
It’s so true
Budgeting really helps my life, but i do need to monitor my spending daily as im definitely overspending...
It's far too easy to go over when on a low income. Its difficult.
Keep a spending diary. Just get a small notebook, then write down everything single thing you buy, no matter how small it is. Keep this diary for no less than 1 month, at least 2 to 3 months is better, but even at one month, you will be able to see where you can plug holes in your spending. Also, I got a monthly budget book from the Dollar Store, it's call Home Finance Bill Organizer. It has each month, and I write down all my bills and what they are going to be, rent, insurance, electric, etc. Also any other expenditures like birthdays, or car tag when due, etc. It really helped me and you can keep your bills in the pocket of each month so you know exactly where they are. Also get on budget billing with your electric company, that way it's the same each month. There is a reconcilation month, so keep that in mind. Get rid of cable tv. There are tons of free movies at the library you can get for free and also lots of great movies and even tv shows on CZcams which are also free. Shop for cheaper car insurance and internet or see if they will price match. I recently dropped one car insurance that was charging me $119.00 a month to another who is giving me the same insurance for $51.50. I know this is long, but all this helped me a lot to stay on budget and I hope it helps someone else. I'm on a fixed income but I'm making it work. I'm also able to save money each month for a emergency fund, Christmas fund, etc. It can be done, but you have to discipline yourself. But above all you HAVE to want it. Good luck to everyone.
I really need this. As the sole breadwinner in my family, it can be hard to budget.
So true, so true! I'm happy I could help. :-)
I’m about to graduate, move out, and get married and this helped so much, thank you!! 😁
You’re so welcome! Congratulations on graduating and getting married.

Hi Kate! Thanks so much for stopping by. I really enjoy budgeting as well. It’s a necessary task that provides you with a firm financial foundation. And it doesn’t have to be hard or boring.
Great video girl! I have all my money on a bank card and I give myself an allowance every weeks. Which is deposited on another card. So I’m never carrying all my money on me.
Love that! I do something similar myself.
I recently started doing this with my cashapp card- I put a budget on it per month for the things I want and whatever I don’t use I throw it in savings at the end of the month!
Oh I love watching budgeting videos! I love budgeting! However, you had me at healthy, wealthy, skinny!👏🏽❤️

We got into trouble this month with a few unexpected expenses this month. No savings. Or emergency fund. Its difficult. 1 income family. No room to get a 2nd job on the go either. Will plan better now.
Happy to help!
It get's hard sometimes but just working your plan will pay off.
G’day from Australia ❤️
Hi! It's nice to meet you!
How to change impulse to buy good deals (mostly in thrift stores) for future? For exapmle - i found out winter overall who whould suit my son in next winter but i would spend money which i actually don't have. I know that but there is urge to buy because i am afraid that i won't find such a good deal in future when i will need it.
Pray about it...God will deliver you from that
spirit.

FYI:
Rents and utilities takes most of our income. I lived P2P, but I was happy to have the incomes.
I was able to travel, buy what I wanted, and I do have a budget to this 79th year. I help non beggars help themselves, and I still saved.
FYI:
Thank you for your excellent videos and stay safe and blessed.
Expose all of these Greedy Criminals!!!
Thank you God for not making me a GREEDY and Dishonest crook. I paid my own rent, car notes, utilities , vacations, and I help non beggars help themselves. You reap what you sow, and stop thinking the rich, by hook or crook, are better than anyone else. God does not have favorites, and we go when the wagon comes. GREED and being HEARTLESS will and is destroying the world. Put a d before anger, and you get danger.
SOLUTIONS: DEPORT to the wilderness of Alaska and Siberia one way, and harvest their organs.
Decent people want to enjoy our cities, and we are not beggars, but want to earn our incomes.
ALL LIVES MATTER!
She is not skinny
