They’re taking so many things out of context. He straight up said he would have most likely been traded 2 years ago if it wasn’t for the MVP season. He said he literally takes a break at this point in his career at the end of his season and then works out for a while to see if he wants to continue and he indicated this is something he’s done for a while. They gave him indication man to man that he wasn’t going to be traded and people he trusted told him otherwise when he got out of the darkness retreat. He decides he wants to keep playing in the retreat and after he comes out he hears about the trade talks from people he trusts. Because obviously bs and fake things end up on the internet and in people ears. ( Skip literally has talked about made up reports on this very show.) And everyone with a brain knew they was going to take that leap with the transparency line.

The numbers weren’t MVP-caliber, but Rodgers still took a rookie head coach to the NFC Championship game in 2020-and the Packers repaid him in the following draft by trading up to draft his replacement in the FIRST ROUND. And they did that in a draft featuring Justin Jefferson, CeeDee Lamb, DeVonta Smith, Jerry Jeudy, Michael Pittman Jr, and Brandon Aiyuk, among others. They’ve NEVER drafted a receiver for him in the first round in his tenure as a starter, and, in what was basically the perfect draft to do so, they opted for pettiness. They’re a pathetic organization that isn’t getting NEARLY enough heat for their emotional, shortsighted decision making. That’s how you end up with just 2 Super Bowls after 30+ years of Hall of Fame QB play.
