Hello Cuteas! This was filmed early December - I am not in Manila right now. Iâve been a potato at home in New York. Please take this video as entertainment and hope it makes you laugh or in the mood for an at-home snack. All of us are asked to stay home so we can beat COVID19. I will do my best to remove any racist comments or jokes about the virus. Let's make this a safe space. Sending LOTS and LOTS of love to everyone here. Things may be tough but we are strong! Hi TJ! fun fact: the Sisig that you bought is actually a Jumbo version (2x more contents), and it can stuff people's' stomachs easily.. there are regular ones in same Pork Sisig, Giniling (ground pork in tomato sauce, kinda sweet), Bopis (pig heart, brain and lungs, spicy), Bangus (milkfish) Sisig, Chicken Sisig and Tuna Omelette flavors tip: try removing the scotch tape from the box using a fork, insert it on the edge of the opening and scoop out the tape.. there are 3 tapes at the front, and 1 (i think) on each side
So the pork bun in the Philippines is called "Siopao". And I'm glad finally someone covered 7-11 Philippines. I was there in December and I loved seeing the pandesal, ready made sisig, siopao and everything!
Chicharron ni Mang Juan which means âChicharron of Mang Juanâ âMangâ is short for âmanongâ and it means like an old man. We usually call older men manong if we dont know them or if we know them we add their names in the end (itâs like uncle Or ahjussi) hehe The sauces are for the siopao or paođ and i think you can get the ketchup and mayo if you ask the cashier:) great video TJđđ im missing Ph now!
Hi TJ! A Filipino fan right here đââïž thanks for visiting the Philippines. I hope you enjoyed your stay! Well i must say that the food choices in a filipino 711 isn't as many and as varied as other asian 711 but soft serves and the chicken are must try items!!! lil trivia... the TJ in the hotdogs you ate stands for TENDER JUICY (brand name) đ stay safe!!!
I must say that 7-11 in PH has evolved into a place where you can eat a lot without spending so much. They now have these soooo much choices! đđđ
7 eleven's sisig is like cat food compared to the real sisig haha You should have gone for the salt and vinegar flavours of potato chips (especially 'Cracklings' which really go well with beer). Filipinos love their vinegar! The siopao you ate is called bola-bola (with the yellow dot), while the one with the red dot is asado (like a Filipino version of char siu). We usually put some kind of dark sweet siopao sauce on it (did they give some packets of it in 7 eleven?) I used to like Locally (the canned drink you had), especially the guyabano drink, but the company who made it, Nutri-Asia, is being boycotted for their abusive labour practices.
Americans may find it odd, but you can also get chicken and rice at McDonald's. Inasal is also good for chicken and rice. The chicken is BBQd instead of fried.
It really is amazing what you can find at 7Eleven in Philippines. Their pork buns are one of my favorite go to snacks, especially if I'm in a hurry. Thanks for sharing, Tj! Have a great day and stay safe and healthy!
It's pronounced as "Ni Mang Hu-wan" if you get a chance next time you should try the spicy vinegar flavor of the same brand (brown colored packaging) and yes, 7-11's soft serve is too good for its price!!! Thanks for uploading this TJ! â€
We are (whole Luzon island) in lock down now and this makes me wanna go out and buy those stuff. đ Chicharon ni Mang Juan is a Vegetarian snack so hurray? đ
Iâve never seen someone so respectful of other cultureâs food. Kudos! Also, this video made me comment on a YT video for the first time ever. Lol! đ
@@CupofTJ Hi everytime I'm watching your vlog I am gonna smile, you make people smile by the way you in terms of acting. Have you been to Cebu City? How old are you? Thanks.
7/11 rice meals are taped up on all sides. They used to have no tape at all. But due to multiple reports of dead cockroaches found in some boxes,7/11 started sealing the boxes with scotch tapes on all sides. Roaches were probably slipping in the boxes during transport from factory to stores. Thus the multiple taped up sides.
Omgosh garlic peanuts sound A-MAAAZING! Wish we sold them in the UK! Also come just take a moment to appreciate the star on this show.... the creaking door đ
Itâs a mistake that people make there where they give you the wrong sauce. It happened to me when I bought siomai there and they gave me the siopao/bao sauce.

They used to have this soup thing that was available in Japan. It was really tasty. You'd pick a topping and get soup and optional ramen. The problem was most people just didn't get it so it was phased out. I do love their chili con carne though. Just dont get the chicken. I had food poisoning eating 711 chicken. Ministop has better food and i like their kariman.
The TJ (Tender Juicy) hotdog sandwich comes with ketchup and mustard. It's either given by the cashier upon payment or sometimes warmed in the steamer as well.

eh, they were supposed to give you the condiments for the hotdog when you pay :3
Yep. It's at the counter.
Maybe the counter got caught by the moment that their store was being filmed for a vlog and totally screwed the condiments. Just a thoughtđđđ
@David Gibson "maybe"
David Gibson he said maybe
Oh no, she got it for free that's why she wasn't given those sauces that comes with,,,
