  • First mod for my Mustang GT. Installing an H pipe on my 2019 Mustang GT. This modification deletes the resonator. It offers the best bang for the buck literally. I have the active exhaust option.

But, you will gain more low end torque. Getting off the line is more important to me than top speed that I'll never attempt on any open road. I took my 2017 GT up to 145 mph one time and backed off the throttle quickly after that. I achieved enough top speed to see how fast my Pony would go.

Weird you had difficulty getting a shop to install your H-pipe. All custom shops and even Midas have no problem here in Maryland installing any exhaust mods. It is you, the consumer who takes the risk--not the shop. Anyway, your S550 looks and sounds fantastic! I am changing over my current X-pipe for an H-pipe as I love the less high pitch raspiness in favor of the deep tone of the H-pipe.

I got a magnaflow tru-x resonated x-pipe for my 2020 and it only changed the sound and tone didn’t make make it any louder really. But the sound is great I was just hopping for a lil more volume. But the cars I have heard in person with x-pipes are super loud. I have read that a h pipe is like 3-5 DB quieter then a x pipe. Idk. Any help would be appreciated. Your car sounds awesome 👍🏻👍🏻
