Back with another one, DIY . We will be installing the cold air intake from Silber Turbos on my 2019 Can Am Ryker Rally aka F.R.E.D. On this install it is required that you open the clam shell of your Ryker, I would recommend that you check out Bill Ramseyer Jr video on CZcams of how to open the clam shell. What happened to the airbox intake you cut open. Did that actually make a difference or did you need to put the direct flow air intake on it to see horsepower gains?

Is it safe for the bike to have a bike completely left side exposed at all times after thee install? It seems like a car without the hood. Just asking cause I want to do it
