With how big the CRM storyline is I'm glad they are giving it the proper time and attention! It doesn't feel like its being milked given some of these have been announced as limited series and once the CRM is dealt with Rick will be reunited and that will be the proper end. Its basically in sight so I'm not upset like some but I think the finale was fantastic and its going in the direction I want!

I love the touch that when we meet Gabriel he had a breakdown about how he let people die by locking the doors but six seasons later he makes up for it by opening the gates
I've been watching this show live since season 2. I've always wanted to be part of this magical world, and finally I was able to. AMC's extras casting agency responded to my email, and I got the opportunity to work on this show for 3 days as a background extra. Not only that, but I was in this episode, in a scene with so many cast and crew members. I was in the crowd of commonwealth citizens trying to be let into the estates.
I had interactions with Norman, Melissa, Seth Gilliam and Greg Nicotero. I met so many other people who'd been working on the show for so long and told me their favorite times they'd had on set and special scenes they were in. There was a magic in the air that felt like a sense of massive group familiarity and everyone just felt welcome and happy to be there and it so easily rubbed off on me. Suddenly I was part of the TWD family. It was one of the most incredible experiences of my life and I will never forget it.

The show started with Rick searching for his family, and ended with Rick searching for his family. His appearance definitely wasn't just to hype the new shows, it was to bring his character and the whole show full circle as Lacey said many times. Expecting anything more from his appearance was setting yourself up for disappointment. His appearance and his smile is everything, it's life, hope, future and a breath of release. Perfect final moment for the series
exactly, anything else they did would be a rushed story jus to have it, they did what makes sense, it’s perfect, im excited for all the spin-offs
It makes sense for the end of this series but if Rick doesn't reunite with everybody by the end of the movies we riot :P
I cried like a baby! Luke and rositas scenes were heartbreaking! Love the episode and happy we got some Richonne stuff, more than I expected. Can’t wait for that reunion! Happy everyone got an ending and the communities are thriving and communicating and looking out for each other. Hilltop and Alexandria looked great and happy they are back and better than ever!
Don’t forget that Morgan will probably tie in with their storyline
Rest In Peace to my favorite show of all time. Maybe this is just recency bias, but this might be my favorite episode of the series. I just thought it was the perfect ending. Rosita dying protecting her baby at all costs, Gabriel's character coming full circle, opening the gates to the estate, unlike when he locked his congregation out, Daryl coming full circle with the "We ain't The Walking Dead", Eugene and Max having a kid and naming it Rosie, Carol calling Daryl her best friend, many other love stories with happy endings like Magna and Yumiko, Princess and Mercer... and oh yeah the Commonwealth being ruled by Ezekiel and Mercer. I'd live there XD. And the ending... it made me cry harder than I've cried at a TV show. We all wanted Danai and Andy to come back, but I doubted it would truly happen. It's just so heartbreaking knowing that Rick has been trying to come back all these years, he even escaped just to be taken again. I've been on this journey since I was 12, and now I'm 23. I've grown up with this show. And of course I'm psyched about the universe expanding, and while I'm sure those shows are gonna be incredible, there will be nothing quite like The Walking Dead. You just can't replicate it. What a journey it's been, I'm still crying even watching your reactions lol, but I'm man enough to admit it XD

At the time they might as well have been dead, I always have that picture in my mind of them walking in front of the herd in 510. They looked like they'd been through Hell and lived. And now in current day, they "ain't the walking dead", and they're "the ones who live".

Rip Luke, Jules and Rosita, it’s a shame we didn’t see Rachel, Cindy, Scott, Barbara, Bertie, Kai, Eduardo, Virgil and Keith, Keith was a whisper from season 11 episode 5 when Aaron, Jerry, Carol and Lydia went to hilltop to get supplies, it was good to see Rick and Michonne
I was really hoping to see Kal and Eduardo coming back. :(
They’ve been here since season 6 at hilltop and then suddenly left because the actor for Kal had to Film other things, and they just made Eduardo disappear :(

They should have killed off so many of the extras idk what they were thinking it’s the series finale wtf
You guys should watch "World Beyond" because that show told us all about the CRM and what they were up to....we even found out the difference between and A and a B. Without giving you a spoiler, just in case you decide to watch it, Rick is a "B" and that will explain why they are keeping him alive and not killing him. They need people like Rick to try and put the world back in order. I know people talked shit about World Beyond, but I liked it and from watching it I understood completely what Rick was doing.

Duo, you two first appeared in my sub box when you were on season 4 episode 5 and it was just a happy little accident that I stumbled upon your channel and I can’t believe that we are finally here at the end and I’m glad I got to be a part of your journey through this amazing show that got me through a long 12 years from all of high school- all of college and it’s just so surreal to acknowledge that it’s over. Rositas death still hurts me but she went out beautifully and she died knowing coco would be safe and have a great life and she knows Eugene will have a gr8 life as well. I hope you guys react to the spin offs and I’ll be here if you do but again I’m glad I got to join you on your journey through this amazing show😁
Honestly Duo are probably the only decent TWD reaction channel out there, loved watching them. Rosita's death also hit super hard, it was especially difficult to watch the talk between her and Eugene and then the bed scene... but she was also really badass against all those walkers after she fell.
Luke's death is a honorable mention as well, he wasn't with us as much time as Rosita or some of the other characters (or even have all that much screen time to be honest) but his death scene also got me choked up, especially as his OG group was all around him telling him how much they love him...
I'm looking forward to hopefully seeing Duo react to the Richonne movies, perhaps also Daryl and Maggie & Negan's series if they manage to pull those off somehow
Michonne and Rick were writing in different time periods. Rick was writing during those first 6 years that he left hence why Michonne found his phone and shoes on that boat and Michonne was writing her letter to Judith in the current timeline.
14:39 The "It's like he told you" line, they are talking about Major General Beale who is the leader of the CRM. I recomend watching TWD: World Beyond if you're interested on that because that Beale guy is the villain for the Rick and Michonne spinoff

I wasn't sure if you all were aware about the spin-offs. I wished they didn't announce it yet, because it made any scenes with Daryl, Maggie and Negan less tense, because we know about the spin-offs. I am excited about the spin-offs. Will you all read into it on what and where it will set? Overall I enjoyed the episode. I needed to pause twice because it was fast paced with too much emotions. Couldn't stop crying.
Haha, reminds me of that one youtuber that knew that at the time Carol was gonna be in Daryl's spin-off, so they said something along the lines of "Carol could do a back flip off the clip and she'd fine" during 10x16 XD
I loved everything about it👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽 This show went way beyond my expectations. Some people had to die in the fights with the walkers. Christian asked Angela to have her character die because she wanted personal closure from the role she loved. Angela had not written it with her dying but honored her wishes. What a beautiful death and the best death of the series.
They did show that Rick threw the bag with the phone and boots on the boat where Michonne found them in her last episode in season 10.
I wouldn’t say it’s the best death of the series hands down but that’s my opinion and my best deaths of the series have to be Hershel, gov, Tyreese, Noah, Abe, Siddiq, Glenn and Rosita but again that’s my opinion
@@pyr1412 best because it was chosen by the actress not the writers original script and it was peaceful, beautiful and fit for her protective and heroic character. She said a couple of times everything is perfect and she was happy.

100% agree about Luke. It's literally been over 2 years since his character appeared in an episode, and you bring him back just so you can have an extra person to kill off in the finale. His character deserved way better.
I totally agree........ They should have killed Kelly. Mainly because I can't stand the fact that she has literally burst into tears in EVERY SINGLE episode that she is in Since we met her.
What a long strange trip it’s been. One thing that I’ll truly appreciate is that I can always go back and rewatch y’all starting from the pilot whenever I want. So thank for sharing your entire journey with us.
Also guys I know y’all want to know some things about the spin-offs so the Negan & Maggie show is taking place in New York City and their going to start filming season 2 in January, The Daryl show is taking place in Paris France and he said he just wakes up there so probably the CRM is involved in that and the Rick & Michonne show well obviously is about finding each other and the CRM and getting back to the main group is guess I’ve seen some videos of Negan & Maggie & the Daryl show but I don’t think Rick has started filming their spinoff just yet but still I really do think the shows will be good from what I’ve seen of Daryl and Negan & Maggie it looks good so far.

I started watching this when my stepson’s were 12 and 10. It was our Sunday night “special” night of TV. Their mom hated that we let them watch this, which kind of made it more exciting honestly. (You know what I mean). And here we are, 12 years later and all our kids live on their own, and here I am, the only one left still watching the show. I thought it was a good ending. I really can’t think of anything else to end this. They weren’t going to find a cure, so might as well keep building a new world. That’s been their whole thing, all this time. For better or worse, it’s over.
Favorite part is Maggie and Negan talk. Acting was incredible. Gabriel finally opening the gate. Everything! Mercer fighting alongside our group and Commonwealth folkes helping. So sad losing Rosita but Eugene honored her with his daughter Rosie. New Governor but a good one this time. Princess, enough said. Carol, Daryl, Judith, RJ, Jerry and the whole group. It was an incredible ending...or new beginning. Rick and Michonne, Daryl, and Maggie and Negan spinoffs! The universe is continuing!
Man I’m gonna miss this show I started watching around when season 2 was still new and I’ve never missed an episode ever, I got all the action figures and everything lol and this was the perfect ending to show with everyone happy and Daryl riding of into the sunset and Rick but hey it’s not over yet cuz we have the 3 Spin-offs Negan & Maggie, The Daryl Dixon one and the Rick & Michonne show next year and I can’t wait man. This show will live on forever to me and if I ever have kids their most definitely watching this show lol
The comic book ending is very opened ended just like this. I agree it felt like "there was more to be desired", but there was never going to be a real definitive ending. The threat of the walkers will never go away

I’ve loved every episode of every show that the walking dead universe has put out. This episode was one of my fav of all times!
I am so glad I came across your channel three years ago. I am one of many who watched the pilot episode on Halloween 2010 when the show aired. I was like Steve. I didn’t want to watch a series about zombies, but my then 7 year old daughter begged us to watch it. She even said she rather watch the show instead of going trick or treating. So to make her happy we said ok. And the back of my head was like, it’s only an hour of my life I won’t get back. The pilot was done so well that I literally got hooked that same night and I already chose Rick as my favorite character 😂. My daughter has now just turned 19. And I have never missed a live episode. I got to meet Lennie James, Steven Ogg,and Scott Wilson. So this show has been my life for 12 years and I never wanted that day to come when the show ended. But I am extremely hyped for Rick and Michoone spin-off and Negan and Maggie’s. I hope you guys at least react to Ricks spin-off. Because like me, Rick is Steve’s favorite character and I can’t wait for that reunion between Rick RJ and Judith.

I really enjoyed the finale, it went out in a big way, this doesn’t feel as much like a finale in the normal way a series finale usually does cause we’re getting 3 spin-offs that continue the journey & they’re my five favorite characters in Rick, Michonne, Daryl, Negan & Maggie so this feels like a to be continued instead of it’s over & I’m ok with that.

1)Judith waking up in the Hospital like Rick.
2) Father Gabriel once began his journey by not let the people in his Church out of fear and walking into a firing squad to Open the gates to let the people in.
3)The flashback at the end with Rick and Michone was a time flashback/present jump.. Rick tossing his pack on the boat (PAST),Michone finding the pack years later's which lead her in the direction to keep going after Rick. Flash forward to Michone on horse charging at a sea of walkers.
Guys it was incredible to be on this journey with y'all. I still love to binge watch the earlier important plot moment eps with yall just to see your reactions. I wathc you guys while im working at my desk job lol.
Im just curious because I don't know if anyone has recommended this show to yall but you should watch the Queen's Gambit from netflix. A few other reactors have recently picked it up and i htink you guys would love it!! Its got excellent characters and beautiful art direction and music plus its not that long! It's only 7 episodes!!! But i think you guys would enjoy it!
The problem with this show is perfectly summed up by the words at the end of the after trailer. "The Walking Dead Universe". They're basically trying to stretch the overdone zombie concept into a Marvel-style cinematic universe, and because of that, they're playing everything safe. There should have been far more deaths in the final season and especially the final episode. Where is the shock? Where is the terror? I never really felt anyone was in danger at all this season. Even the most peripheral characters were just taking up space this season. And middle of the cast characters were basically just kinda there. The show had about 5 times more characters than it needed, and didn't really know what to do with most of them.
It’s so disappointing that there was basically no reaction to Rick being alive! Isn’t that what we’ve been waiting for? All the emotion from Daryl, Carol, Negan etc?
Does anyone else know the meaning behind the song Cult Of Personality, And how fitting it is that that's the song they used to blow up the estates? God I love this show. It don't owe me NOTHING.
The thing that would make this a perfect finale is a reunion with Rick, Michonne, Judith, RJ and the rest of the core group. But I'm looking forward to the spin offs.

I’m glad they didn’t go crazy and kill everyone off. They left it open with a community to come back to. Hopefully these spin-offs will eventually lead back to home. Daryl told Judith I’ll be back and I think he said something similar to Carol.
I think the reason you didn’t feel like you got closure Lacey is because honestly the spin-offs are season 12 and they just came up with a cheaper way to do it like getting rid of the side characters
Also AMC is cheap and if we had this same cast with the same people behind the scenes on a network like HBO with a big budget this would’ve been the best series ever but instead we got a cheap network who didn’t wanna pay out the big boy bucks

Couple things to say sorry this will be long
1. I don’t care what anyone else says I loved this final I didn’t think I would cry and I did really shows how much I love this show and these characters accept Carl he is still my least favourite but most important this show has meant so much to so many people around the world I know we will see some characters again I hope we see them all.
2. Know this is something a lot of people are getting wrong Daryl is not going to look for Rick Maggie is sending him to find more people and communities like she said thinking about the future.
3. Dead City is a show set in New York which will star Maggie and Negan we don’t know if we will see anyone else and we don’t know why they go to New York some say maybe about Rick others say because Pamela escapes I don’t know these are just guesses I have seen things we do characters will have to zip line across buildings and New York has a herd of a million walkers.
4. The Daryl Dixon show is going to be set in Paris France we don’t know why or how Daryl gets there.
5. Obviously the Rick and Michonne show don’t know anything about that but that’s probably the end of the the walking dead Tv universe definitely going to be the end of the CRM story.
And lastly I am so sorry that this is long I was trying to give some extra information

im very excited for the continuation of fear and the arrival of dead city! those two, to me, seem like the best ways to further expand on the universe, instead of daryl and r&m. you guys should catch up on fear the walking dead, it get so good.

The final scene with Rick is at some point between when he disappeared, and the 6 year time jump. You can tell because of the boat being somewhere different from where Michonne found it, and how Rick had his stuff, that Michonne found, inside said boat.
Out of allll the parts of this spectacular ending … the one that got me the most was Gabriel going to let those people in the gate. He redeemed himself big time from when we first met him. He wasn’t going to let it happen again! 😢
What an amazing journey we had together with watching this show. Glad I came across you guys with this reaction before everything else I reacted to with you guys afterwards . Hate the shows ended now but the shows technically not really over with there spin offs with many parts continuing preety much . I’m shocked yall actually didn’t know anything about these spin offs happening after the show was going to end completely wich is a good think early on . But yeah I just figured yall would think what all remaining characters would have survived at the very end on this show to see them possibly in something next. Right before season 11 started AMC posted everywhere telling us that these spin offs were happening wich was way too early to tell us that to preety much give us an idea a few of the characters weren’t gona die on the main show because of hearing that , lol . But yeah I got extremely excited to see both Rick & michonne but especially more so Rick . He has always been a massive part & face of the show to me & wort alot of nostalgia being with him from the beginning throughout most the seasons now to the end seing him back on screen . I literally started watching this show right when it aired in 2010 every single week just tuning in to watch each new episode that would drop before the show even got popular and discovered by people . I was 17 in 2010 when twd came out & here we are with the show now over in 2022 with me now being 29 wich is insane to me! Shows literally a part of my childhood now. Looking forward to the twd spin offs coming next year ! Thank y’all again for being amazing people & having great reactions to this stuff . It’s very entertaining . Overall I was happy with the finale. I’d already accepted it wouldn’t end like a normal series finale as how could it with 3 spin offs coming. I really wish they’d kept those to themselves until this aired, but I get they had to start production, but it did take some tension out and also makes this end not feel like an end, as Rick / michonne have to se Judith & RJ again for a start. I’ll watch the spin-offs as they have 4 of my favourite characters in them. Oh and the live orchestral score to this ep was amazing. It sounded so epic, especially the scene Rosita comes out fighting after falling.

The backpack, Machone, found in the ship with Virgil, is the backpack Rick, threw in the ship, when Rick is caught. Machone, clothing looks Asian, I love it ❤
I feel like this Series Finale ended the best way possible and it has also left room for more for some of the characters we've had some good moments and some bad moments but overall I give this ending a solid 9.5/10 and thank you Angela Kang for these last few seasons it has been an amazing journey Peace.

I thought this was the perfect ending to TWD... it wrapped up a lot while still leaving it somewhat open for the new shows. Everyone was happy and safe, building and moving forward. I can't think of anything else I'd like to have seen.
well in the comic rosita had a far more harsh death at the hands of alpha, she was one of the head pikes and funny enough she was with eugene in the comics, i wont say more because the death was really dark

How to end such a series? This is not possible because life goes on. Zombies continue to exist. Everything that could be completed was completed. It's a season finale and not a real series finale. We will probably get the real finale after or in the Rick spin-off.
Gabriel kept the doors to his church closed when we met him. Here he opened it.
Rosita probably got the most beautiful death in TWD series history. Rosita probably had the least character development of all. With motherhood, she shifted her priorities accordingly and that's it. But what has changed dramatically is the way we have seen her over time. She didn't have to change, the viewer just had to get to know her better. Badass has always been. She became one of my favorites over time. Her death hit me. I also found this unnecessary. I would have preferred to lose Gabriel or Eugene. Even with Carol or Ezekiel I would have gotten along well. Probably the series did everything right in the sense of drama here.
The scenes between Carol and Daryl must have been reshoots, because Carol was originally supposed to be in the Daryl spin-off. She only recently got out and the scenes of farewell had only the two. There was no one else in this scenes.
The walker who is through the window with the stone was also a call back to the shopping center in S1E2.
the only thing i disliked about this episode i expected more of a reaction from when the group finds out that rick is still alive they was so nonchalant about it
I was satisfied with how this chapter of the walking dead story ended. And I’m excited to see what comes next. 😊 rest in peace Rosita you are a legend! 😢

The last few minutes was basically a setup for the 3 spinoffs.

@@nilesstark I’m aware but I was saying Negan and Maggie’s spin off didn’t have any set up b/c negans last scene is the letter to Judith and him returning her compass and then Maggie talks to Carol and Daryl abt the future like she’s not planning on leaving hilltop for a long while but dead city will force her to leave.
I'm just catching up to your reaction Nd won't watch this till then but just got up to the episode where rick meets machone and gives me chills especially after watching the series final last week, the way they make eye contact, the journey they have been on, move over Jack and rose

I think it ended perfect and I truly believe if you listen very carefully they way things were communicated I wouldn’t doubt that we have a future series coming in a couple years

that’s the point though the only way stories could end would be characters dying, the point is they live on in this world and it’s open to interpretation, there can’t be complete closure, you have to give yourself some, great finale for me

Loved y'all's reaction! The Rick and Michonne clip answered many questions for me. The rumor he had amnesia is now definitely not true. He's been escaping and they keep bringing him back. Them I mean the CRM. Now we know how his boots and stuff ended up on the boat and was eventually found by Michonne. I loved the episode. It ended beautifully. I am extremely sad we lost Rosita but her passing was beautiful. She enjoyed a last dinner with the people she loved and time with Coco. This is not goodbye. This is see you next year. What are your plans for more stuff now that the flagship walking dead show is over?
What a terrible way to end this like 15 year journey…. Absolutely a big let down.

Theres a rick and michonne spin off that would give them plot armour if they appeared in main show. I honestly think Rick dies saving michonne at the end but if not that can be them getting back to the main group and same for all the other shows. If they all end up together at the end of whoevers show is last. Im so happy
