Wild thing is, this was the tournament he was playing while, he was playing another tournament in the last video!
I know it hurts Rampage, hindsight can be a killer. But that table had people turning up with a lot of monsters, lots of us will say we would have snapped called or ripped it all in. But there just a touch of pressure with 6 figures up top. Keep grind man your an amazing player

Normally you are doing well and then punt it all off but I actually think you played this really well. I enjoy it when you play more low variance and have fewer all ins with poor cards and this was one of those times. You just got unlucky which sucks but just keep getting better and things will come your way

iirc you had qs9s on that t3 shove from lu. this is where i think you should've been in, even without being results oriented. lu looks like he's shoving super wide, your hand is playable and his elimination is so important you want to increase the odds of that happening by being in even if ponakovs would still end up coming along (he likely folds to your isolation shove and you would've flopped trips to win and eliminate lu).

One of my IDOL RAMPAGE....Rampage CASH GAME IS VERY DANGEROUS
I once folded AQ vs a ep raise and a short stack shove on a final table of a small WSOP side event. I was a middle stack. They both ended up w AJ and I secured a small pay jump. Definitely a closer spot than some people may appreciate… in my specific case I prob should’ve re-shoved and gambled, as I think the pay jump brought my payout to over $5k, which would then mean I get a 1099 from the casino.

Nice run Nathan and enjoyed the video as always. I have to say I watch all of your videos and that was a great finish because you didn't just jam it in, you thought it out with that Ace Queen off suit hand and made a smart fold I thought. You were also mindful of the low stack and tried to wait him out. I thought you maxed out this run when you didn't really have much to work with at the end and the guy on your left kept running into premiums when you were on the big blind. Always frustrating to run out that way when you play patient only to lose in the end. Beer golf works for me too ;)

On Lu's T3 shove, Soverel as the CL should just call it, and everybody just then check all the way, which is what I would expect to happen on a FT

Hey 4 years ago you were heading to Foxwoods or MGM in Springfield and then when leaving you said something like OH well tournaments just aren't my thing I guess, but now now your a BOSS!! Look it the buy in's you are doing when most all of us that watch you are still doing the avg buy in tournaments and 1/2 2/5 cash.. Do a quick look back. plus you'll prob reach 300K subs before the year ends..
No punt this time - nice. The AQ looks bad, but you have the ICM implications and you thought it thru, so that's what counts. The AT you had to go with. The other guy wins like 3 all-ins and you can't win 1. That's how it goes sometimes, but there's only one (1) guy that's truly happy at the end of these things and we'll take 6th every time.
That AQo spot was gross. Watching it live I was hoping you would've called. Easy for me to say as a viewer. I agree with your thought process in that moment given the ICM implications. Nice run!

Making the right call is never a mistake dude in a tournament. I’d fold too because you’re f’d if someone has a monster. With 3, and 2 raisers with AQ. I’m folding always at the final table at a WSOP bracelet.
What happen to the Million dollars 1st place got ya when it was at Binion's Horseshoe? More people are playing this now and the buy in is the same at 10k.

My best and worst fold in a live tournament was AK suited preflop to 2 all ins. My read was right and the first all in player had AA and the guy who snap called had AQ off suit. Flop came 2Q10 turn 10 river J 🤮I would have been chip leader fairly deep but I still look at it as a great fold
The only back door after the 8 8 K flop is runner runner 8 8 for Quads with an ace kicker.
negative - ace on turn or river was going to win or 10 10 🤔
They don't consider pairing your cards as backdoor draws. Back doors are running straight, flush, or quads on the board with higher kicker

These are the moments that define our careers. I lost in similar fashion, then won 1st in a $50K, the very next day. Rampage is due for another big score. All that this means 💰🏆

Dude honestly we’ll played. Unfortunate the cards didn’t come. AQ was a good fold regardless of the outcome. They were repping stronger hands. Turn confirmed that weather you discipline folded or just instincts it was the right play. A10 could fold and wait for next hand. But not a bad shove either

the way it was bet, really hard not to give one of them credit for something like a pair of jacks and then the other player has blockers to ethan's aq and he's less than a flip. his stack is big enough that a fold there is imo correct.

I would have folded also but if I knew that cards I would have called AQ and probably lost depending on if that guy was true or not.
This last month or so AQ off has been such a terrible hand for me I think I would have ahead to fold it too. It just will not hold up for me

I recall watching this live. I can’t remember but they had a pro player commentating maybe Jesse Sylvia and you definitely made a bad fold considering your chip stack. I know you asked soveral if he would have called and truth is he probably most likely called because of his chip stack size. I don’t know what I would have done to be honest because I can see cards and make a decision now but not knowing cards is a different story.
