I’m happy to hear you talk about our land and the impacts from colonisation. I can see that you respect the bush and that’s clearly evident in your videos. Clearing the dead carcass from the fresh water creek and scattering the remains of your fire are great examples for others to follow. Well done mate, keep up the good work 👍🏽

Being out of Australia for the moment your videos are a nice relaxing way to reconnect with the Aussie landscape. Anyway, wanted to let you know that on Better Homes and Gardens they had a wombat sanctuary that was treating mange with repeated doses of an insecticide delivered from a cup on the top of a burrow door that pours on them when they exit the burrow.
Your production quality is every bit as good as PBS or the BBC. Always a treat to watch your shows.
I always wanted to really see Australia. Got news from the doctor recently, that's not going to happen. Thanks for letting me tag along!

I'd recommend trying wool clothing out, especially for a base layer. ALDI regularly have them on sale and I'll tell you mate, best hiking shirt I've ever had and with the added bonus of not stinking after a long day as wool is naturally anti microbial thanks to the structure of it's fibres. I may be biased as I'm a sheep graziers boy but I do alot of bush whacking and can honestly say that going wool is the best thing I've ever done.

The highest quality as always Mr Sotty, an absolutely beautiful location with those sandstone cliffs and caves. Just magic mate. Very sad note at the end with the wombat. Such a uniquely Aussie animal with such a distressing condition is pretty hard to accept. I feel your pain being powerless to do anything.
Aussie stuck over in Europe, seeing out the lockdown. Watching your videos has helped me keep my sanity. Hope to get home soon and just sit in the middle of no where for a while and listen to the bush. BTW, pretty sure those “spiky things” you mentioned is ricin. Can’t get a more deadly plant than that. Eat the colourful beans inside and you will be a goner, very quickly. Congrats also.

Great video, I think you will find the hive above you Australian native bees that don’t sting. They’re completely harmless. The way to identify them is they are much darker and somewhat smaller.
I used to love trekking & random camping. Then I injured my back in a weird turn of event and followed by a failed spinal surgery. Since then I’m bedridden. But your videos bring so much joy to my souls. ❤

If you dig up a prickly pear, just remember to hang it up on a tree or put it up on a wide rock away from any soil. It can reroot from any or all of those spine clusters. It's so hard to eradicate. It looks like an awesome hike. I've not been out of the city since the pandemic started and I swear I am starving for some solid time in the bush. Thank you for sharing your bushwalks.

I've got two firebox units. An original stainless steel unit which I use for solo 4WDing and an ultralight unit which I use hiking. They are both awesome stoves for the Aussie bush.

Hi Scotty, i have been following your videos and recognise some of these you go into, this particular one i have been walking and camping ect for a while, i started to do vids sum years ago because i think people would like to see these places, just a bit further down stream is where it closes in and becomes gorge like for about 10ks long and quite stunning, watching you wandering around the srcub reminds me of a younger self so keep going and love ya work.
