So glad to see a new turban wrap video, esp for a head full of hair. So true, you can use almost anything as a wrap, but be aware of the type of fabric you’re using directly against your hair. I use a protective under scarf to keep the wrap from rubbing/drying/frizzing out my hair.
You could use an under cap that is often worn with a hijab, or like a black wig cap

This was very helpful l always had a difficult time keeping a scarf on my head at night.
Love this...I stay using my regular scarves including infinity to wrap my hair. And people always ask where did you buy your turban or headwrap? And then surprised when I tell them it's just a regular scarf I wear around my neck.

I've recently gotten into wraps! My friend and I bought fabric form JoAnn! A lot cheaper that buying marketed head wraps. Also, I have a decent amount of hair and I'll braid or flat twist the back to make it flatter.

What type of fabric was the first one? I don't own the stiffer fabric ones. Currently, I'm just working with normal scarfs. I also use a satin scarf underneath to protect my hair from breakage.

mz Kaye it’s definitely shrinkage. i measure my hair and keep track of growth. it’s still growing for sure. doing a length check soon, but it’s not stalled
