The modern £5 coins are exactly the same size as this. Also have a silver anniversary coin of 25p (1977 Guernsey) same size.

Very fascinatimg video - thank you. The best coin was the first one from Cupro-Nickel - the crown coin.
If only that was made of silver like the maple leaf and eagles coins it would be very tremendous and have intrinsic value.
The bullion fine coins did not have a decent picture or look to it compared to the first coin.
I think the durability of the olden days coins such as the American Eagle and Canadian Maple leafs are practical for circulation and usage whilst superior to lower grade alloy coins that have no metallic value relative to silver.
We should have these coins again. I found your historical overview interesting - i have subscribed and will look at your shop products.
    Thank you.

There isn't a single coin minted for Lord Alanbrooke, the man that really turned the tide of the war.

Always the same with anything, the people behind most success are normally overlooked and the people that ride and make noise about that success get the praise and acknowledgment 🤷‍♂️

This year is 140 years since his birth perhaps we will get one in 2033 for the 150th anniversary. You can submit ideas through the Royal Mint website! -CC

The vast majority of these Churchill coins/medals are beautifully crafted - but unusually for me I think the portrait of the Gold example is hideous - I have to say the original Crown that the artist was a little displeased with is a classic for me.

This is a bit of a 'click bait' video, as your title say's 'what are they worth?' I expected you to say how much you'd expect to buy one= for today, to maybe add to a collection, not the old money value etc, but I thought the Britannia Coin co would be clearer, seems not?

  • @jasonanthonywebster8859

The (25p value isn't right) I sold one for £6 on ebay, so many others are sold for the same price

I am not his greatest fan. Tonypandy and George square Glasgow were not exactly his finest hour. I love Queen Elizabeth's first portrait. I think it's the best of all 5

2023 marks 100 years of disney so it would be great to get some disney characters on 50p coins.
2027 will mark 50 years of the first star wars movie so maybe some coins then.

That would be great! But not being British I don't think it'll happen...... maybe an anniversary of Pinewood studios though? -CC
