My six year old daughter gave this video a very big thumbs up! She liked watching the welding, told me she uses a stencil in her art class, and said the best part was the design of the door. I liked it too. Thanks for another great video.
I love the table saw blade burn marks left in as a design element. I don't recall seeing that before, and it really adds interest. Another awesome project. I learn more every time I watch your videos.
Amazing how you cut steel free hand with the grinder & it all then fits so snugly making something that looks like it has been together for a hundred years or more. So inspirational! Thank you for sharing!
a superb video, as usual. thank you for this ray of sunshine that you offer us each time. a special thought for New Yorkers from France ... and the rest of the world.
Loved this build! also gives me some great ideas of what to do with a pile of left over flat bar I have lying in my shop. The wood looks amazing, that lightly sanded, but still rough sawn finish is my favourite.
Super cool. I like the riveted/tacked look all the tack welds give and the wire mesh stuff. They’re going to love it! And you’re outro would’ve made Vimeo proud, haha -Caleb Harris
Wow!!! What an awesome build. They are going to be so happy with it and happy they gave you the freedom to do what you want with the build. Way to go Bro!!
You just keep getting better and better, i support your growth like a brother. Keep up the great work and inspiring those who watch, to do something amazing!
I've been going back and forth on whether to do full beads or a series of tacks on an upcoming project. I think you just gave me more confidence in the tacks. Looks great!
Awesome Job. I really like the way you set up the lighting in your videos now. You have grow so much. Not just as a craftsman, but an artist as well. Keep going.
It never ceases to amaze me jimmy how you take the humblest of items and materials and make them into freaking 5th avenue level artwork, thanks for sharing it with us
Been looking forward to this one since you put it on Instagram. I love that hardware you put on there. That latch! Awesome. I'd be very proud to own such a cabinet, great job!
So my wife says to me “hey honey, could you make me one of those?” And I said. “sure baby” So how much including freight to Melbourne Australia Jimmy? Oh...and don’t sign it ok? 😉😂
I know someone else who would appreciate something like this. Wow, who ever received this must be super excited to have it. Amazing work and such attention to detail.
Another amazing piece of practical furniture as art and design. Classic Diresta, the build is breathtaking in its simplicity and seemingly ad hoc construction and yet the result is a beautifully proportioned elegant object with an indefinable air of authenticity. I don't know whether to feel inspired or burn my shed to the ground in despair. :-)
Oh. Somebody is getting a nice party tomorrow... Jimmy, you are a true craftsman. Anyone would be lucky to have anything made by you. And the Halloween lighting was nice. Cheers!
Bad ass! And reminiscent of the first Diresta video I ever saw. Which was your reception desk. Keep on being bad ass! You are inspirational; and continually make me want to be a better teacher, and maker. Keep on keeping on!
Great work! the beading is a great touch and I like that you kept the the interior wood color light. Congrats on 1m followers I just want tok thank you for all the great work and videos habve veedn a huge inspiration and guide over the past few years.!
The best thing about being able to build stuff like this, Is that you can customize everything the way that you want it to be. you never have to go to a store and look at furniture and then pick something out. you can just have an idea and then make it.
you have said on your podcast a few weeks ago that you needed a viral video to get your channel on the upswing. I think THIS is the one! Awesome project, and a great video to go with it
Great project. I really like the way you speed up the segments and tweak the sounds. The rattles and taps are almost soothing. Glad there is not obnoxious music going on, just the tweaked actual sounds. I really like the way your videos are "produced" very entertaining and you can get the scope of how you built it. Keep it up.
Another Classic looking cabinet with a Stagecoach Strongbox look to it . Created by the skillful hand of DiResta . If I'm Lying , I'm Dieing , With the "Never forget a Promise " attitude your brother from another mother .... PYD Creations

I love the different materials in this and how they came together to make a really cool project!
A classic Diresta. I wonder if people will collect his stuff in 100 years. Posters, axes, cabinets. Good thing he stencils them so extensively.
Great to see another build video... Love the darker style too. This one is a beaut.
I love the table saw blade burn marks left in as a design element. I don't recall seeing that before, and it really adds interest. Another awesome project. I learn more every time I watch your videos.

My two favorite artists Jimmy Diresta building a gift for Maynard James Keenan. I love it. Beautiful work

I really like the row of spot welds instead of a running bead. Gives it a totally different look.
Classic diresta build..good work man.

I'm loving the dramatic lighting and hand modelling 👌
Amazing! Love watching your stuff, can't wait to see what you do next!
love the use of spot welds as rivets,
I love those wheels. They look like the rollers for old fire doors. Great video as usual Jimbo!
This is a Stunning piece of work Jimmy....
I like the welding "dots" effect. They give to the furniture the typical rivet look. Great Idea

I love it !! Beautiful as always jimmy

Perfect! Would love something like this as a gift. I'm sure whoever gets it will love it!
Love it. Looks like something out of Alcatraz. Killer work as always!

Beautiful work, Jimmy. Really nice piece!
Great work Jimmy!! Love the lighting!!
Love the vintage industrial look Jimmy, would fit in perfectly with several of peices in my house. Might have to give a project this on a go.
Beautiful build!
Love the look of this piece, also love the echo at the end of the video, really adds the industrial feel
Came out great man! Liked the rivet like tacks on everything! Adds something extra too it!

Erik Linder I find it soothing too! Sometimes watching these videos can put me to sleep. Not really sure what it is, but it's definitely relaxing.
Those last shots are money! And the reverb in the warehouse is out of this world!!! xD
Looks amazing Jimmy, really like the rustic/industrial design

RhodyJeff 👊🏼👊🏼👊🏼
Love the inset door and accent edging around the grades - really gives it just that much more personality
Looks awesome man. Made me giggle when you slowly moved your hand away after latching the door at the end.
Another fine piece of work.
amazing design. Everything works together.
Finished it 20 minutes ago and it looks like its 100 years old. That's so kickass.
