Welcome to Meg's Tiny House Tour! Join Meg as she takes you through her unique and cozy tiny home that she fell in love with and bought a month after discovering it. This is not just any tiny house; it's a space filled with warmth, character, and a sense of home.
🏠 The Kitchen: The heart of Meg's home is her kitchen, featuring a beautiful macrocarpa wood benchtop, a large sink directly connected to the grid, and plenty of storage space. The open shelving, repurposed beer crates, and handmade pantry add a personal touch, showcasing her tea collection from her garden and various cooking ingredients.
🍳 Cooking Space: Meg's kitchen is equipped with a full-sized stove, perfect for hosting and cooking for friends and family. Though she's not a massive cook, the potential is there, and she loves the luxury of having a big oven and hob.
🌿 Living Room: The living room, Meg's favorite part of the house, is a plant lover's paradise with a beautiful bay window that brings in the golden hour sunlight. It features a comfy couch (without storage but utterly lovely) and a hammock for extra seating, making it a perfect space for relaxation.
🔥 Fireplace: Essential for warmth and ambiance, the fireplace in Meg's tiny house is a highlight, keeping the entire house cozy during winter and adding to the overall vibe.
🚿 Bathroom: Surprisingly spacious for a tiny house, the bathroom includes a full-sized shower, compost toilet, and a vanity with ample storage, reflecting a functional yet aesthetic design.
🛏️ Loft Bedroom: The loft bedroom, with its queen-sized mattress, is a cozy and intimate space, perfect for relaxation and reflection. It serves as a meditation and reading area during the day, with plants surrounding the bed, creating a dreamy greenhouse vibe.
📚 Storage Solutions: Smart storage solutions like the under-stairs area and the loft's shelves and cubby holes make living in a small space both manageable and creative.

At minute mark 5:33 this woman explains that the previous owners children used to use the room off of the kitchen for a playroom/nursery.This young woman doesn’t have any children.She turned that room into a walk in closet due to not needing it for a child’s room.Hope this helps to straighten out your confusion about her.

The best thing about this beautiful home is that she owns it and the land it sits on. That is very important for a peaceful existence, IMO.

Agreed! The biggest problem with tiny house or mobile home living, is that it’s very hard to find land you can where you can put your home.
Nothing particularly groundbreaking or super unique about the space itself but it’s adorable and feels really perfect and like the right fit for her. I’m glad she was willing to share her home with us. Very enjoyable watch. ❤

The color palette of this home is amazing! Earthy browns and greens and woods and plantlife makes this space feel warm and restful, like a hug. And yes, when she mentioned about grown kids, my jaw fell.😲😲

Meg's house is really lovely and bright, and the plants make it feel so warm and cozy. I am not usually a lover of brown tones, but that bedroom is beautiful! Good for Meg for not having social media - but happy that she shared her beautiful home with us!
I absolutely love this tiny home. She has used the space in ways that have made it her own. The garden is lovely too and it’s such a great way to recycle the water. So beautiful. ❤

I love her cozy home, the colors are cozy and plants add magic. My garden keeps me from living in a van, although I imagine I could size down otherwise. I think I could add a native edible garden in a circuit of land, though. But walking outside and harvesting food is heaven.
I planted 4 native plum trees late March, and one already leafed out 😊.
If I had one complaint about this house, it would be a lie. I love everything about this little home!

A beautiful tiny home with a lot of lovely artwork, wooden touches, storage, plants, and sunny open windows. I love the oar banister too! I love all of the plants that she has throughout the house. It just makes a Home more inviting in my opinion. And her front deck is beautiful. I can see why she likes to spend a lot of time out there when the weather cooperates. It’s a very lovely tiny home.

I loved her house! Some little houses seem cramped to me (perhaps because I'm claustrophobic, lol!) But this one seemed just right. Loved all the greenery, the outdoor space for receiving guests, her kitchen with its coffee station. Lovely!
