I bought a river Blackhawk from their gun vault (so it was used). Brought home and the trigger felt way to light. Went to fire it and found out the hammer didn’t even push the firing pin down enough to contact the primers.. I took the grip off and found a S&W J frame hammer spring! I took it back to bass pro knowing they wouldn’t let me return it but I showed it to the gun “expert” who ran the gun vault. He told me he looked over every gun before he purchases to ensure quality. I told him “You knew the trigger guard would go on and knew there would be no way for a customer to detect that flaw and sold it knowingly defected. OR you honestly thought that it was quality and didn’t check firing pin protrusion when buying a used revolver. So which story am I reporting to corporate? That your a dishonest liar or an honest dumbass?” I reported both honestly. Third, since they don’t have people who know what they are doing behind the counter it takes an hour to buy a gun because 4 different levels of management have to look over the paperwork.
