Bellator is my favorite, because itâs pretty speedy for such a thicc ship, also it packs a pretty big punch
I think for me itâll be the Interdictor Class SD for me. I donât know but the idea of intercepting ships out of hyperspace seems so cool to me. Otherwise I think the Resurgent Class Star Destroyer would come in 2nd place for me due to itâs slick design
Favorite? Vengeance Class Star Dreadnaught or Bellator Class

The Eclipse is the perfect ship for the Senate.
My favorite is the vengeance. It's more obscure than the others and honestly deserves more attention. I think it just looks really cool and packs near the power of an executor in a smaller package

More of a Semi-Super Star Destroyer. Still my favorite. It reminds me of a World War I-era battlecruiser, a lighter, sleeker, faster version of a full-size SSD. It's the pinnacle of Star Destroyer design.
Allegiance is more of the battle cruiser imo
@@jesspayne5548 Battlecruisers in Stsr Wars aren't the same as historical battlecruisers. Star Destroyers are more like battleships, the battlecruisers are plus-sized versions of that. Dreadnoughts, which are the most powerful vessels in Star Wars, historically were an early type of all-big-gun battleship. The Invincible class battlecruisers were the counterpart to the Orion class super dreadnoughts. The Invincibles were faster than the Orions, lighter armored, and equivalently armed. If the Executor is an Orion, the Bellator is like an Invincible. It can outrun the bigger dreadnoughts that outgun it, and it can outgun smaller ships that can outrun it.

My favourite is still the executor. Despite the scale being off, I loved the balance of power expansion to x-wing vs tie fighter featuring an SSD. A huge, dark grey arrowhead.
I do like the Bellator, but I do sort of feel like it's just slightly too heavily armed
My favorite SSD has to be the sovereign class. Can carry enough supplies for 5 years and has a massive air and ground complement. Plus an axial super laser like the eclipse/death star. A close second, like .1% less like than the sovereign, would have to be the fanon hegemon class dreadnought. It has a death star built into it. And it just looks badass
Iâm a huge fan of the Assertor-class Command Dreadnought. Not sure if it counts, but man I love it.
My favorite type of ssd is the bellator class. It's big enough to be a supercapital ship, but it's smaller than the viscount and executor. It packs enough firepower to take on any other star destroyer, but it's also great as a flagship for a fleet.
The Viscount Class Star Defender's my favorite Super Star Destroyer because it's the only SSD that's used to keep peace and protect, not to maintain a government, conqueror, or spread fear. It's not called the Star Defender for nothing.
An Executor-class super star destroyer is my favourite, it has enormous amounts of firepower, it's invincible in a direct confrontation

My fav SSD is the sovereign class. There is no official image but I love the model in Thrawns Revenge. I like it more than the og eclipse. The skinier look and and the more imperial design is just sexy.
I would have to say the First Order's Supremacy, just because its a departure from the classic triangle design (which I still think looks very nice) and its absolutely massive
I like the unique design too, but I find it far too vulnerable to suicidal warp jump attacks that cannot be avoided. :/

Mandator - 2 is my favorite. It's big enough to be as a Dreadnought it carry enough guns to go heads on against any ship, also being super agile.

The Assertor is awesome in my opinion, its just a scaked up version of the Bellator, which is my second favorite. The carrying capacity of the ship is near the one of the Executor, as well as the firepower, and yet its also quite fast. And thats what i love in this ship : its a perfect mix between the Executor and the Bellator

Iâm not sure if this is a star destroyer but I like the venator because of the amount of star fighters can overwhelm a lot of ships and turn the tide
The Bellator remains my favorite SSD for being just a mean ship, it is faster than most ships, it is armed and protected well enough to take on even larger SSDs with proper support fleet, and it maintains the star destroyer design even better than the Executor. Though the Eclipse comes rather close for being the massive power that it is, it may not have speed or as many weapons as the Executor, but its shielding and the density of extreme technology in it lets it take on multiple SSDs at a time due to efficiency and power.
The Eclipse would be the ultimate design of a ship-killing siege platform and command center, but the Bellator is the ultimate hunter-killer of capital ships.
my favorite SSD is the Accerter class, i love the design the firepower is great, it lacks the stupid cityscape of the executor class, is faster than most other dreadnoughts (i think the bellator is the only faster SSD but i could be wrong), and it can be equiped with a minny superlaser in some cases.

The Eclipse II is mine because of its unique design (Not being really curvy like Mon Calamari ships or flat like the SD's) and general aura of power . This may or may not be influenced by Ecks short film .

In my personal opinion, my answer to the question of the day is......
Imperium Ultra Star Destroyer: sure it technically is in a class of its own, but it is still a Star Destroyer.
My reason: the Imperium in EU Lore has a 122km length with over 50k Heavy Turbo Laser Batteries, 40k Quad Heavy Turbo Laser Batteries, SSD hangar on underbelly, 100+ SD hangars throughout, a crew compliment of over 500k enlisted 150k officers, a Stormtrooper force of 700k, 5k AT-AT, 20k AT-ST, 3k landing craft, and a fighter compliment of 8 fighter armadas. The ship is capable of glassing two systems at once.
Favorite ssd? The eclipse because of it's sheer firepower and obviously the mini death star ray
A brief guide to killing Executors
1. Get in behind. Send some ships to disable the engines to make maneuvering harder, then chip away at the shields
2. Bring in waves. That way you can avoid sacrificing too many ships.
3. Take out as many weapon hardpoints on one side as possible on one side, then stay on that side to keep mostly away from the
Executor's firing arc.
I love the Assertor class or the Vengeance class. They are different and more built for fighting space battles. I do like the Bellator but its 3rd on my list but I do love the shape.
my favrioute SSD? gotta go with the Executor class. The original and the best. the menacing shape of the huge dagger, the cityscape. Plus in legends, a ship named the Guardian even survived to fight the Yuzong Vong. Plus there were way more made.
The Bellator has no right being lowered to the level of other SSDs, itâs in a league of its own.
Also, itâs so fast. Like Jesus Christ itâs several kilometers long how can it get that acceleration.

Favourite Super Star Destroyer? The Eclipse-II, nothing beats the superlaser-equipped middle finger of thr Empire.
My favorite has to be a Tie between the Assertor class and the Bellator class.
I think they are Much more well thought out and Designed with Fighting,Not scaring in mind
My favourite SSD is the Bellator from Battlefront Commander cause i saw it the first time in a CZcams video destroying a fleet of like 5 Valiant Class Carriers and it looked so beautiful (BfC 1.04 the good old times never forget , at this time it was my favourite mod (ok, itÂŽs still))
My favorite SSD is fractal spongeâs Assertor because of its amazing amount of firepower but my favorite capital ship is the Praetor because of its unique design

personally, my favorite SSD is mainly fanon ships like the Regent class, and the leviathan class.
If I had to pick a class of ship, I would go with the Eclipse-class, because it has a superlaser, a lot of weapons, strong armor, and even interdiction capabilities, and it just looks awesome. If I had to go with a specific ship, I'd have to choose the Lusankya, because not every super star destroyer can say they put up a fight against not only another super star destroyer, but a Yuuzhan Vong world ship.
The Bellator is my favorite SSD, because it looks amazing and it is one of the only SSDs that forgoes stupid gimiks to be a useful and tactically superior ship.

Most stardestroyers in star wars can not point all the guns forward which is the main reason for the wedge/triangle shape. The point of the design is to maximize the firepower forward and to the sides while reducing the crossecsion of the ship to others.

I would have to go with the Bellator class SSD, it's everything that should make up the Imperial Navy's backbone. Fast, powerful, and deadly
One does not need to be flexible on the battlefield when one is the battlefield blasting everything that is not on your side: hence a dreadnought with a thousand guns

Even though the Bellator is not as beefy as SSD's like the Executor or Eclipse it is just pound for pound a really good ship, and because of its size it is not as much of a drain of resources or manpower as other SSD's

I like the bellator it's cool looking while being more practical than the executor.
One more thing why do you attack from multiple sides. It will allow the executor to fire more batteries than if you attacked from one side.
It's the firepower of one executor vs half an executor.

I don't really have a favourite ssd, I prefer a large number of smaller capital ships in varied fleets. Maybe the Vicount if I had to choose
the only thing i hate about thrawns revenge is the offscale units, for ground and space. thats why i love Empire at wat remake mod, all of its units are correctly scaled :)
