Hi, Amit -- long time no comment, I've been taking a break from online stuff. But I hope you don't mind me offering a gentle correction and some comments. The gentle correction: Basil's name is pronounced Bay-sil, not Bah-sil (as we would say in the English speaking world). I'm like you, I had a blast watching the film, especially the second half where it descends into pure chaos. I'm actually not much of a fan of Prithvi doing comedy, I really don't think it's his wheelhouse, but they put him precisely in his darker, hero-type avatar in the second half and there I thought he was terrific. Also - there was a lovely and fun cameo appearance near the end of the movie by Aravind Akash, who played Lord Krishna in Prithviraj's debut film, Nandanam. They even use the music for him from the film in this film. I had an "OMG" moment when I saw him and heard that, I was so tickled that they did that. (Also, BTW, they did not actually shoot at the Guruvayoor temple, that was a great set they build for the film). Anyway, Nandanam is absolutely one of my favourite films, I've written about it and shared it so much :-) Oh, and Prithvi says the last line of Nandanam (originally said by Nivya Nair in the film). There were a lot of other references to films and memes in the film, too (another one that stands out for me is a line from Drishyam, which Prithviraj says, imitating Mohanlal's shoulder drop).

Hi Filmi 👋 so happy to see your insightful comments as always. Oh thanks for the awesome correction on the pronunciation of Basil Josephs name! I've been saying it like the herb all this time!
I'm glad you enjoyed the movie as well! It looks like it was a little hit or miss all around, I had a good time with it. The bromance was so fun to see. And thanks for that awesome bit of trivia, I had no idea what was going on in that scene and why they were highlighting that specific character at that point, but now it makes a whole lot of sense. The last line also confused me a little but thanks for clarifying!
Loved the movie references, I remember the Drishyam reference, I think they dropped a Mammootty reference as well!

12:08 I couldn't figure out what it was about this movie which I struggled with, I think this was a good point. I liked the movie but the comedy was a little repetitive. Loved the bromance, good review bro.
