The vocals were programmed into a Vocaloid software.
The last time I wrote a song about this game it focused on grief and repression, and I knew before I started that it was going to be about OMORI.
This song focuses more on depression and recovery. Like most of my music, I first began writing and then slowly figured out where it was going, eventually deciding to frame it around this video game.
I often attribute the topic of my music to some form of media or another because I generally don't like getting personal about myself. If I'm going to keep making music though, I need to get over it and allow a little bit of intimacy in my songs.
Making the video for this was simple, but surprisingly fun; it makes me want to incorporate more practical stuff into any lyric videos from now on.

I love the lyric 'Dropped in the shuttlebox, no longer stop the shocks.' There is so much you can read from this one line and it is great.
Can someone help me out here in what a shuttlebox is in this context? I tried looking up the dictionary definition but didn't find it particularly helpful :P

@@underfirebutok @gaetanomunoz9741 I think the idea is that it's an experimental device for animal learning where an animal moves between compartments to get positive and negative reinforcements like electric shocks - Sunny has been avoiding the negative reinforcements (his guilt and trauma caused by getting too close to the truth) like an animal trained not to go into the compartment where they get an electric shock, but now he isn't shying away from his guilt and he's going to face the truth even though he'll get shocked or maybe it means that the pain (the shocks) leaks through anyway even though he's trying to avoid it, or probably it means both!
Is the shuttlebox the chest that the violin was in at the end of the game? Because im not sure what shuttlebox exactly means, but i know what box means, and the broken violin was dropped in the chest
Yeah and also the imagery behind those words is sunny and omori hugging, after the violen was mended i think

Oh my GOD, I've been listening to Everything for so long! I can't believe I didn't subscribe and ended up missing this! It's beautiful! The lines "Just one more day" carries *so* much weight by itself, that kind of desperation and despair is so potent. This is an absolute gem. The amount of times I've cried to Everything, now I gotta do it ALL OVER AGAIN! GOD TYKIM (seriously, thank you for sharing your art with the world)

Surprisingly enough, I can see more of YOU in this music than Omori, to the point that, upon first hearing the music in the album, I had no idea that it had anything to do with the game. So good job.

I just found this song at 4 in the morning and listened to it with headphones on.Its really good i love the whole song and the end part when you repeat 'try one more day'.Its so good that i fell asleep to it and woke up at 7 lol
