Looks like a fancy Ford Mustang
Exactly what i thought
Definitely a Mustang
It’s got 4 more cylinders than the biggest mustang engine though
@@Adam-je1nfThat has nothing to do with the looks as OP was commenting on.
Came here to post the same thing!
Looks like a Mustang, like the 80s Vantage, which isn't a bad thing.
i would say looks like a ford mondeo
more like Mustang 2005.
Glad i am not the only one!
First thing l thought mustang front end l guess l am not the only one
80s Vantage looks like a muscle car, but it doesn't really look much like a Mustang. This very much does.
It is not always about to shift so god damn fast, but like here, the pure joy and mechanical feel of a manual.
Love it you guys killed it on this one
I wish Aston Martin would use the design language of this and Victor in their main product line. It’s like a modern interpretation of the Vantage’s from the 70’s and 80’s which I love. Like a classy muscle car.
Edit: I also wish they put two more circular headlights in each corner of the grill. And the ride height needs sorted.
Way too close to a mustang in silhouette. I disagree. I love those special editions, but don't use it to the main product line.
@@BookerCan By this logic, I can say the same for Aston's main design language since, Mercedes and jaguar coupes.
@@BookerCan But the same could be said for the 70’s/80’s V8 Vantage but nobody back then was complaining that it looked like a Mustang. The reason being at the end of the day, it drove better, had a better interior and looked better.
If Aston can make a more beautiful “Mustang” that drives well with a quality interior I certainly wouldn’t be complaining.
@@BookerCanagreed
@@F1ll1nTh3Blanks Jaguar was copying Aston by hiring it's designers. You'll have to point out models for Merc. BTW my opinion doesn't nullify yours. :) It's as valid as mine.
Major win for Aston for putting a manual in this car!
Major loss spending all that time and development to give the people what they want (Manual V12s) but only making 110 of them which will likely get 110km of travel each year.
They forgot to add the manual hand-brake as well (at least for rear) but i love the boxy can-am style on this AM..
why anyone want slow manual shifting?
@machinetradereurope7853 because these try hards wants to think there better drivers even though they do the exact same thing as a auto/paddle shifter driver and thats do pulls in a straight line on a empty road lol
@@luxuriousmindset1906nothing to do with tryharding. Some people love rowing through the gears. It’s more of an experience that what is little more than a gaming wheel glued to a real car.
It appears we've come full circle and now Aston Martin is now trying to make a Mustang. In a world of dual clutch transmissions and electric torque... etc The Mustang still retains that one special thing that made driving special in the first place. Shoutout to AM for making this and recognizing what motor enthusiasts really want.
Amazing. Stunning. Fantastic. Hats off to Aston. I just wish they were making more!
Wonderful car , props to the old mustang ! 👍
AI "enhanced" Mustang 🐎
scary ugly
I love the modern/retro design Aston Martin has been doing lately. Wish they would bring some of that design style to their “normal” cars
It looks more like a Mustang than an Aston...
Not to belittle the designers of this beautiful car, but the circular heads, the hollow V-shaped grill design, and the wide backside, looks just like a Mustang...
If u just showed me a front half of this car in a darker color, than I would just assume its a modified mustang...
Its the back that shows the signature Aston vibe... Its like Lambos, and Porsches... Just has a signature feel when u look at the flowing lines in the back...
@benjackson6260 it harks back to the v8 vantage. Which put very basically a sophisticated, grown up mustang.
@@benjackson6260 brother why you copy pasting so much, get a grip
@@ru2225 🤣🤣🤷♂️
@@benjackson6260 looks absolutely nothing like a mustang
Awesome looks , design and nostalgia. This is how to build a dream old school car with a modern twist. Love the way Aston remembers its heritage and still looks to the future
To me, the Aston brand has always been about experience and luxury before absolute performance. I like that they realized that a bespoke manual in a beautiful body can be like a mechanical watch in a world of apple watches...
So pretentious.
the Aston brand was all about elegance... this car has no elegance...it is a fancy muscle car.
well, but then they mangle some turbos on it...okok, power's fun, sure.
Aston Martin designers should give the BMW and Mercedes designers a couple of lectures. They don't just make cars. These are artworks
This car is overdrawn and comical looking.
@@kraenk12 is that so? What's your favorite car?
New Mustang looks sick. I like the retro throwback styling cues 🤘🏻
Definitely a mustang😂
Mustang is trash compared to this! And much slower lol I do like the Mustang though but prefer the English Aston.
@@contingency9 you missed the joke mate
@@contingency9 Bro this cars spiritual predecessor was the V600 LM Vantage, a car that was based on the Ford Mustang.
@@CoopCollins I only went into comments to see someone write this!!! Thank you 😂🙏🏻
All it's missing is some armor and Crystal Dome tech and it would literally be a car straight from Cyberpunk 2077, beautiful design!
it's not a car it's an emotion, it's part of my heart ❤❤❤
I have not been impressed by a super car like this in a long time, this. Car is truly an emotion ❤
What an absolutely STUNNING looking thing of beauty!!! I love how it refers back to the sheer muscularity of the '80s V8, and still embodies all the best attributes of the current generations of Astons!
Just fabulous!!!
Type in the search engine 2022 victor and you'll see it's been ruined.
Got to disagree with you there. To me, there is too much Mustang in the front elevation. And that's not a compliment.
End of an era! Aston Martin going onto some great things
Thanks to Lawrence Stroll. He brought life back to the brand and much acclaim.
No, they're going EV and that's big yikes.
Marvelous! You Brits do have peculiar traits to fool people nicely. Globally! The Velour is really a son/ younger brother of Victor. Immaculately presented and performed! I take off my hat! But so much fuss of nothing! I adore Aston Martin cars! I know its history pretty well! But why do Astons create an artificial trend for limited edition cars!? Especially for Eleonor type of cars? 😂😂😂😂 Anniversary 110. Or one-77! And the presentation goes in a way that you reached Jupiter!
Aston Martin is not a brand for commoners! Only "nobles" with chubby wallets can afford such masterpieces. But why do you do the trent of a primus inter pares! You try to exaggerate the thing which is already exaggerated!
I am sure that Aston shall charge for one of 110 bespoke masterpieces something like GBP 3 mln! Cost 100 grounds. Sales 3 million! Very smart!
All is carbon fiber! I understand that a goodwill called Aston Martin is an expensive thing. Intangibe asset bred through a century! But you don't have to screw people's mind with 1000% marginality! I, like Jack Brabham, know the price of each bolt ant nut!
So, the question is the following. Are these cars for "honest " nobles, or for drug dealers who hardly can count the cash in their vault ?
Astons, stop please! You are tearing off the ground!!!!
If
If by some great things, you mean boring, soulless EVs with batteries supplied by Chinese commies, sure🤦🏻♂️
Wheels look really cool and in all black this would look even better.
Looks like a modern aston V8 vantage, beautiful in every way
next Bond car right there....
Wow so happy they did this, cause it was frustrating that such an amazing car like Victor was one-off! OK, it doesn't look as insane as Victor, but still awesome and for me way more interesting than Vantage or DB12 🤷♂ just love this modern retro styling, looks so cool! 🥰
Aston did another cool prototype that i wish they would did more :
Aston Martin CC-100 follow by short run of DBR-22 speedster !

@@MrJWW I love the Victor, i dont understad why the Valour couldnt get the Nat Aspirated V12 and side exhausts. It makes for a cleaner design on the back of the Victor in my opinion. In the interior the screens should have a mechanism so they can disapear out of sight on command. I preffer the Analogue Instrument Clusters.
715 PS is roughly 700HP. Kinda low for a V12 which is turbo charged? Surprised that it isn’t NA
It's 5.2L. Displacement and RPM make power, not cylinders.
Not a big bore v12, to give you an idea comparatively, the 8 cylinder displacement = 3.46, 4 cylinder displacement 1.7
This is the most beautiful design off a car I have ever seen 💎

Modern semiautomatics are faster and electric cars generally do not need gearbox, its dying breed.
@@randomnickify well obviously genius. People want manual because it’s more fun. No one cares about that 1/10 of a second faster shifting on the road. Same reason why people spend thousands on mechanical watches when a $20 quartz will keep better time accuracy lol.
Manual's will remain a niche thing. Smaller car manufacturers and boutique car builder's only
think soon enough, the most exclusive special editions from the top brands will make manuals available again... since the old timers (people with the money) all love it.
