It's rare to see a channel that turns worse as they get experience.....this ain't BBQ this is just a freak show. Nobody else would over crowd their BBQ that way, because the result will be under par. It's been a long run but this was the final straw. Best of luck going forward.

75.000g of meat and claims it will serve 400 people. That is 188g of meat per person. That will allow 1 sandwich/bun with pulled pork per person.
In general, if you have in our region carnivores you take 300g to 350g per person, for a mixed audience you go to 250g.

I know you have like 10 different BBQ there. There has been so many different equipment we have seen you use. Why not use 4 different BBQ and make 4 butt per BBQ. The burning / grease fire etc etc makes it silly

after all your amazing quality videos, this is by far your worst, and you've reinforced why I will never buy a Kamodo Joe or big green egg...it's hard to replenish the fuel source mid cook.
Yup. That's why I have a Horizon offset.
This was obviously a ridiculous experiment, but done correctly with a more appropriate volume of meat, you don't need to replenish the fuel source mid cook in a Kamado. With a Big Joe, people have recorded holding 250 to 300 degrees Fahrenheit for way longer than you would ever want to cook something - over 30 hours. I'm not saying the Kamado style cooker is the best as they have their pluses and minuses, and people like what they like. I happen to have one along with a few other types of smokers/grills, and I like to use mine for certain things. The specific concern over needing to add more wood mid-cook, though, is just not really something to worry about.
I agree with Craig. I have a Big Joe and I cook 18h briskets, 12 h butts, etc and have never come close to running out of coals.
Like Costa, I also have an offset which I cooked 8 butts in at one time. Much more suited to this task but needs constant refueling.
Kamodo's don't need refilling even when you shut it off, it keeps it temp.
😆 you obviously dont have any experience with a kamado. You dont need to add fuel on overnight/long cooks. I do butts and briskets on one load of fuel routinely. Kamado cooking is a skill just like an offset. You probably should stick to a Traeger my friend.
