- Here's our best run from the WRO 2018 World Finals in Chiang Mai (Thailand). Our robot might not be the best, smartest or most sophisticated... but it is super reliable and finally we had two perfect runs (180P) and no run below 130P :-). It's more or less the same robot than the one we used in our German Finals, but we could improve its stability while reducing runtime by approximately 20s.
We're planning to put more contents on our channel soon.

By the way... the blue seedlings were part of the special rule.... we couldn't solve this special task within time while still having a reliable robot, hence we ignored them.
Herzlichen Glückwunsch zum 24. Platz in Thailand von den Robokids aus Aachen! Es scheint aufregend gewesen zu sein - laut offiziellem Ergebnis hattet ihr die volle Punktzahl erst im letzten Lauf :). Wie lautete denn die Zusatzaufgabe?
Ach ja... die Zusatzaufgabe: Die blauen Dinger stellten Dünger dar und sollten in die unfruchtbaren Felder gepflanzt werden. Am zweiten Tag wurde einfach die Reihenfolge der Scan-Blöcke verändert... statt 1,2,3,4,5,6 war die neue Reihenfolge 4,5,6,1,2,3.
Der erste Tag kostete viel Nerven... es waren immer nur Kleinigkeiten mit grossen Auswirkungen. Die Nervosität vor diesem Lauf war riesig (wie man sehen kann). Am zweiten Tag dann gleich auf Anhieb ein 180P Lauf (obwohl der Roboter gleich am Anfang über zwei Scanblöcke kachelte und wir dachten, dass nach 5s schon alles vorbei sei), dann erst konnte sich der Puls langsam beruhigen. Das hat bestimmt ein paar Lebenstage gekostet... aber es war es wert 😉. Finales Ergebnis steht noch aus... danke auf jeden Fall für die Glückwünsche... wir sind in der Tat mega happy. Haben uns sehr über euren Kommentar gefreut und auch beim Wettkampf an euch gedacht... schade, dass ihr in Passau Pech hattet... Top 20 hättet ihr locker geschafft. Egal, Ungarn ist auch schön 😊... wir glauben an eure Jungs!

Two blue fertilisers (you can see them in the video) which should've been planted onto the infertile fields (corresponding to black "soil blocks").
