When the internet first came out, this is what everyone said it was going to be like. People around the world sharing their experiences and building a global community. Instead it turned into...well, we all know what it turned into. One of the things I love about this channel is that it reminds me what our future could look like if we all insist on it.
Yeah I feel like we got our digital high-speed community, it's just hard to see behind the crap machine that grew at the same time.
Well technically, it still is that, we are still sharing our own culture, even if some of it happens to be incredibly toxic.
I know what you mean. I thought internet would be the great unifier, showing us that we're not so different. Instead, we use it to nitpick differences and find people that share in our toxic views.

I think this song is a personal favorite of mine, even if I can't understand it or pronounce the name very well.
I guess in English it’s best pronounced as ‘suhmazam’. The g in sigmazam is silent so a lot of people struggle with it haha.

I suggest you to read about Siberian drums, Tengrist and shamanist musical instruments and importance of drums in the rituals.
Music is universal. Every culture shared similar instruments. Just because one of the girls playing violin, doesn’t mean it’s less Turkic. And being just “Tar and Barbat” having Iranian origin (I want to add that Azerbaijani Tar was derived from Iranian one but has different characteristics) doesn’t make this less Turkic either. 2 of the girls playing drums and the drums are also part of Turkic culture just like many other cultures, there’s not any nation who owns the “drum” since it’s important in almost every culture as well as pre-Islamic&modern Turkic culture. One of the girls is playing Komuz, a Turkic instrument. So..

Dude this is Alevi/Bektashi deyiş in old language. It is not only grammatically full of Persian and Arabic but also is so abstract that make it difficult to translate without distorting the core meaning
