living solo: A Day in the Life of a Program Manager Working Remote

Waking up at 4 or 5 am and working through close to 5 or 6 pm, often without meal breaks, takes a toll. Some days are easier than others, but I'm coming close to 2 full decades of being a corporate cog and I think it's time for me to gradually plan a new path for me.
But while I'm still working for someone else, thought I'd share a candid peek into what a typical day looks like for me as a 100% remote program manager at a Fortune 150 fintech company.
My experience is vastly different than the hype, pomp, and glamor portrayed by other career-related content creators. I think what you find in my DITL is closer to most people's reality.
