We got our FINAL look at Tears of the Kingdom story and gameplay today before the release date in less than a month, so you best believe I was awake and streaming at 6:30am my time to capture this beautiful moment live :3 Here's my initial reaction!

Don't worry. I watched this trailer like a hundred times already and every single time Zelda Classic Theme kicks in, as I feel to signify that Hyrule and classic Zelda story is coming back full circle, I cry like a little baby. The implications and symbolism in this trailer are massive! I've watched like 100 people react to this and it's sad that it was sooo rare that I felt connection like in here. Where someone recognizes important characters, places, and overall lore and freaks out just like I am. Goose bumps every single time as I'm yelling "LETS GOOOOOO" when that saxophone pops off!

I was screaming "YESSS!" internally because I am so sick of people saying "Let's go!" at things they like
this game is even more than I was hoping... I was hoping it would be a 'new and improved' BotW victory lap, and with any luck (though I figured it would be unlikely), would bring back legacy dungeons and bosses. This trailer appears to confirm my dreams came true. Paired with the new mechanics, crafting weapons and vehicles, increased emphasis on plot, adding the sky dimension, musical motifs from pre-BotW titles... it's not just going to be a victory lap. It's going to improve on BotW in every way while also being a loveletter to classic Zelda. It has potential to be the best game ever made-- and I can say that this is the best video game trailer I've ever seen.
I like how every youtuber just greets Mr. Aonuma back. 😊

I honestly don’t see how Nintendo could ever top what they’ve done for us as Zelda fans after BOTW and TOTK. These are the sorts of games that come only a couple times in a lifetime and are truly special.
I can see how. 1.) Give Link even more of a personality and backstory. 2.) Make Zelink canon. 3.) Maybe experiment with different artstyles? But yeah maybe this game will do the first two.
i cant see another mainline zelda game after this..i think this is the last one to end the Hero, Princess, and Demise cycle
@@gamershadow8 this might be our “Endgame” of the Zelda franchise. Like sure there’ll be spin offs and the like, but it’ll never capture the magic like this again.

Matt Mercer has done a fantastic job nailing how Ganondorf sounds. the more i hear him the more he sounds like Hit from Dragon Ball Super in terms of tone and yes i know Hit is voiced by Matt.
I'm a 36 year old man and this trailer made me cry too hahah. I genuinely think this ma be the best game trailer of all time... it got me SO hype
At this point so many of us are in our 30s (myself included) and the theme is just TOO EMOTIONAL :')) brings me right back to my sister and I playing OoT as kids :')))
This is the type of reactions I enjoy from zelda fans. Enjoying the ride and getting emotionally invested and excited. Other content creators overreact and scream to the top of their lungs for nothing, or spend the entire trailer over analyzing every detail and theorize, instead of just…enjoying. Thank you! ❤️
I highly recommend checking out the VOD of this twitch stream. She was freaking out before the trailer, and then going scene by scene afterwards freaking out even more. This woman is so emotionally invested into this series that it honestly has made me a bigger fan of the games.

It happens the same to me! Music makes me cry easily. Even more when it's that intense and fucking majestic. And it gets even more intense afterwards... jesus christ. I think I'm gonna die in real life with dramatic scenes of this game 😅

Am I crazy in thinking this game might take us through different points in past Zelda games? The scene with the pieces falling from the sky and the castle rising is the Hyrule Castle theme from Link to the Past. And we see Ganondorf in the later part of the video but it looks like Demise in the beginning when looking from behind and the character staring at the blood moon. And when Zelda is holding the tear, I could be wrong but I recall her saying something similar in Skyward Sword. I could be looking way to much into this trailer. lol. One month, Can't wait.
My guess about the tents in the Castle Town ruins: Castle Town will be the new Tarrey Town.

If this is just like BOTW with a trailer that shows so much and a game that is so much more than the trailer then this is the game of all time, dot. There doesn't exist a better game. You can cry all you want about god of war, sekiro, ocarina of time or whatever other game you can possibly think of, but this is the game of all time.
