Personally in a perfect world I think builds are a myth. It's animations that really matter so with that in mind I propose a mode that are based around skill or style points rather than points scored. I know I'm changing the subject lowkey but this will promote skill over cheese don't you think chat?

That’s stupid. 2 different communities. 2k’s community is impatient, exploitative, and hates using actual basketball to win. Live’s community is about fundamentals and realistic archetypes. You saw the poll this year - the 2k community voted that they wanted the game MORE arcadey, not balanced.
NBA Live is goated for sure. I love my Vinsanity but my favorite was the Point Gawd. 2k should’ve definitely take notes. The level up mechanic is lit imo

I believe they should fix badge system where you dont cap on badges. The grinding should still be the same i liked it where you can get SP and badges. But after the cap you should be able to get more badges especially for defense. Its limits the players. Cause in real life yes a player might not grow as a shooter or scorer but defense is all athleticism and players can grow their body to be better with playmaking and defense
