So what are runners to do? Coach Morgan will take you through the best exercises and mobility stretches to help prevent and ease that inflammation and keep you running healthy.

Could you please provide a link for the stick you are using? Thanks!
It's nice to see some easy exercises to help with plantar fasciitis, and not just being told to wear insoles as the only fix.
She is an awesome coach, and obviously knows her stuff and how to communicate it effectively!
Another tip: You can use a hand massager and use it on your calf muscles to really break up and loosen the calf muscles. Start light for a few days and increase pressure over time. It has worked wonders for me. I’ve also used it very lightly on the plantar tendons. Tread lightly….
Great video. Basically all the exercises I learned in physical therapy for five months for free.
Fabulous video! So well explained - thank you
Thanks Morgan, that's a very good video with great information
Training my calves cured my plantar fasciitis, seated calves raises and standing. Its crazy because I haven't even thought about it till now because it just stopped hurting i guess one day. But man it was bad getting out of bed in the morning was horrible.
I love coach Morgan. Super awesome 👏👏👏
thanks for the video Coach Morgan - -- LOVE the band for calf exercises
Thank you coach Morgan ❤
very helpful video, thanks coach Morgan!! Dealing with Plantar Fasciitis Pain is not fun at all. Working to recover soon.
Wow…that broomstick bash really made me realize how terribly tight my calves were. Thank you for the relief…these are great.
This was very helpful for me thank you😊
Awesome video peace and love ✌️🤍☮️😊
I'm glad I found this channel. The advice is top notch. Getting back into running regularly after my military service has been hell with plantar fasciitis. This video helped a lot.
I was in the Army and I couldn’t imagine dealing with PF while I was active. My leadership would have said I was faking.
Excellent video
Been trying everything on the net for plantars. Athlete all my life n worse pain ever felt is this shit. That includes 13 broke bones in 33 places, rods, screws etc, this crap hurts... so far everyone seems to be individual huge on this injury. What works for some, dont for others.. 6 different pairs of shoes over 30 insole combinations finally found some relief. Yes stretch calves, toes, daily and balls and ice on bottoms and scrap an anything else that may work voodoo I would not care, crap is sooooooooo painful. Get a good shoe that works for you then damn company discontinues it.. Dont know bout everyone else but so frustrating... but good video. Always learn something.. I liked the toe scrunchies pulling towel deal. That was new. Good luck to anyone has this crap!!!
Thanks, I'm having issues with it for the first time of my life, and I have been running for more than 20 years, but now since July my left foot is terrible. I will try this and let you know. Thanks
I also recommend the Mobo board! A fantastic device for running athletes.
Thanks for the tips. I’m 120+kg trying to run again, probably start with briskwalk. I got meniscus tear at the left knee few years back. Hopefully it won’t hurt anymore.
Thanks for the tips ! Any suggestions for shin splints ?
This is the best video ever! I’ve always had this issue. Thanks Coach Morgan!
Tight calves have always been an issue for me. Thank you for the tips!
This might actually be doable. My feet have been hurting for a few weeks, thanks!
I've been struggling with PF for years. I had no issues during training for my first marathon, but guess what happened at mile 3...not 23. Yep, PF paint was so bad that it made me want to sit on the curb. I finished, but it was torture. Thanks for this video; I'll definitely give your recommendations a try.
How you managed to run on it is amazing. But to do 23 miles, you’re insane. I’m only able to speed walk at the moment when my PF is feeling good
Great video! Bought some new shoes it was my old shoes.
The best cure for PF is consulting a Physical Therapist who specializes in 🏃♀️ runners. Everything Coach Morgan said is correct, but the cure may be much more complicated.
The timing of this video is perfect! I've been dealing with a flareup and was struggling to use my normal solutions. I will give these exercises a try and see if it helps. Thank you!
How are you doing now
@@falahemm8148 I am doing so much better. Thanks to the recommendations in this video, I focus on calf work more than I ever did, which was never. I'm not as religious about doing these particular exercises as I once was though. I wear compression sleeves for every run as well. Haven't had a flare up since.
Thanks 🤗👍veramente nteressate😘🌹🙏bye
saving this because i know its going to happen to me
That what I have been suffering from. Since from walking and running
Thanks for another great video. I noticed your calf raises were straight leg. Is there a general preference for straight leg calf raises or is there merit in bent knee calf raises and / or benefit in doing a mix of both? Appreciate straight leg works the Gastroc and bent the Soleus muscle. Thanks 👍
I find doing both variety is really good and also doing exercises that works on your tibialis anterior muscle (:
This is a real good video but I still have problems with it What is the best shoes to wear
Perfect timing - mine has just flared up again out of nowhere!
I've been dealing with PF for about two months now. I have noticed it feeling better, but still not well enough I can run on it. Do you have any recommendations on how to cure it or what has worked for you in the past?
Question, can superfeet insoles be used in Altra shoes? My lone peak toe box is a bit too big for me, so was considering using different insoles to fill the volume a bit. Does Superfeet null the 0 drop of Altra shoes? Thx
How can you do the warm up by jumping or running if it hurts so much on your heels??? 😩
I'm dealing with this issue while training for a marathon.
hey, i’m a runner too. how did/have u dealt with it?
PF trying to creep up on me. Ill be using some of these tips for sure. Gots to nip it before it gets too bad :-)
Hello guys i am dealing with this 14 month now. PT, injection shots, and no improvement. can you tell me the exactly name of these insoles? my doctor is ready to put me for surgery at the beginning of december so i try to avoid it. thank you
Don't roll ankles out when going up on balls of feet push into big toes. You weaken the ankles. Holding a tennis ball between the ankles while doing the rises will keep ankles in alignment
what is the name of sole?
I only get this when i hike up hill
I've had it twice, on my second bout of it now and it's horrible. I have tried everything out there. The biggest regret of my life is not sticking to my hokas
Been dealing with this since September 2020. It goes between 1-3 on the pain scale and seems to come snd go. Rolling it out with a lax ball and the massage gunprovide instant (but temporary) relief. Seems to just never go away. I even got custom orthotics that don’t help
Orthotics are a trap really, they relieve the symptom with out fixing the problem. Stronger feet can fix this unless you actually have a persistent injury.
How do you run? If your calves always hurt, you may be running too far forward on your foot, and not let your heel touch down. If you heel strike you get shin splints eventually, if you run on the balls of your feet, your calves are going to feel it. Try to run mid foot landing and allow yourself to recover just as much as your exercise. And yes, roll those muscles out every time!
Yes it works thank you so much !
Trying to excercise PF away is like trying to exercise a fracture out of a bone.
I have bad knees and planter fasciitis 😭
Going barefoot and stretching were the best ways to overcome this painful problem.
My pain isn't in heel, it's middle foot and ball by big toe
That still can be plantar fasciitis. Similar treatment strategies can be used.
The patio itself looks like a health hazard.
Dumb asf
It’s not inflammatory
ouchie-poo
Indeed
you are super cute
You are too young to teach so much😊
PF comes from repetitive movement errors, like all other running injuries. RunRx/Pose method will help
Fancy insoles won’t lessen impact, they increase it while dampening the sensation
You are a beautiful woman
