What a great voice John has
Fair play to John, Lovely to see a man of his talent get signed, Best of luck to him, Top bloke, Top voice
John, Thank you for pursuing your singing! You will bless many more people as you go forward.
My maternal grandfather left Cork City as a child to work in the Welsh coal mines of the Rhonda Valley he never did return , this song reminds me of him and his life.

Beautiful singing voice I'm sure pure natural talent doesn't matter a dam about the video it's the singing that matters best of luck John
3rd generation Irish American here...my name (and great-grandfather) came from Cork. I love John's singing! :)
Catherine Callahan we have an old saying down here cork. We’re so modest that we think that everyone else is nearly as good as us. 👏.
@@paddyfreyne2191 Thank you for sharing that! Made me laugh :)
Catherine Callahan when you live in heaven it’s easy to have a smile on your face no matter what. Corcaigh Abu.

I would love to play along with this guy on my accordion such an awesome voice / Best regards Calgary Canada
I LOVE the video, my family was from CORK and seeing it in all it's glory accompanying this very lovely song is sooo charming! And I do especially love John singing with the Mountains in the back. Someone called this old-timey but it's not - it's Classic and Artistic. John is a genius and his voice, ... a heavenly gift.
Wishing you the very best on your journey John

I love that a recording studio signed him.

Don't know how I got recommended this but it's great! Very much like Stephen Quigg, to my mind anyway :)
He seems such a sweet guy
COME ON CITY
I think you sound better in the bar your more relaxed and at home voice has more built in music / tone love listing to , ( that's my thoughts only)
Do like!

That ship is going to crash into the wall
Come on CITY😈
Fine singer, nice song. But why is he wearing the Limerick rugby jersey?
Lovely voice but man stay away from whoever made this video it is DIRE you had a uniqueness with your natural flow singing behind the bar, doing videos like this in front of a green screen made by amateurs trapped in their 1970's mindset is not doing you justice. Lovely voice but this sort of video doesnt suit you man - Sean
Negative comments are of no benefit to anyone. I wrote this song, recorded the sound track and yes, I did a green screen video for John because he is a really decent bloke and I did it free of charge. I have just looked at your work and it would be very easy for me to critise and point out flaws but I am not that kind of person. if I have nothing good to say, I keep my opinions to myself. I was born in 1978 so I don't have a mind set of the 1970s. If you weren't a photographer, I wouldn't have replied to this comment but I think people in business should not publicly criticise each other as it can work both ways and can be damaging to both parties. We are all only trying our best here.
I welcome feedback on my channel, and I have NO DOUBT you will find a lot on my channel that you can find fault in, because I can too :-) The video irrespective if done for free is dire and you have to ask yourself is this video helping him or hindering John. I could have been more tactful with my comment and that I apologize for but I still think that this video is old fashion and doesnt show him in a good light.
We all try to do our best but sometimes our best is not good enough especially at someone elses expense iresspective if its a free gig or not - Sean
